Yesterday's Condo
This late condo thing is getting to be a habit! Taking Sasha to UC Davis turned into an all day affair, so I'm typing this at the bowling alley. Nothing new to report on her situation. They'll call me tomorrow after the CT scan and before they do surgery, to tell me what they've found and what the game plan is.
Cinco seems to have finally decided to give this dose a try. Luckily, my DH was working from home, so he tested Cinco at +6. I don't get this new thing he's doing where he goes up at the end of the cycle and then down for PMPS. I wasn't thrilled to get a 126 when we are going to be gone for 4-5 hours, but I left plenty of MC food out, and snacks of freeze dried salmon and bonito flakes in Otto, so hopefully he'll behave and hold off on any shennanigans till we get home. nailbite_smile
Cinco engaged in more late night/early morning wanderings - I woke at 3:30 to hear him hollering in the upstairs hall again. I don't know what's gotten into him lately. Maybe he gets lonely at night when we're all upstairs. He hasn't ventured into our room yet, which is where the rest of us are. I'm not sure how Harvey would react to that. We may be finding out one of these nights! I wouldn't mind if he would just do it quietly! I'm happy that he's getting that brave and adventurous.
Has anyone ever seen or used a backpack style pet carrier? I'm trying to figure out how to get Sasha to and from her radiation treatments, if that's what we end up having to do, while I'm on crutches, and that seems like a possible solution. She only weighs 9 pounds. My DH usually works from home 3 days a week, so he can get her in the carrier and in the car on those days, and someone will come get her out once I get there. It's the other two days a week I'll need to figure out. I'm going to do some research on them over the next couple of days.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. Prayers and vines to Chris' DM and Cheers to Boomer on the first day of an OTJ trial.
