OOOHHH NOOOOO! I was sooooo naughty! My beanz is disappointed in me. I'm so ashamed.

I was so excited about the upcoming party that I decided to start early. So during the night I got into the cookie jar without my bean knowing until it was too late. Yes, I did it...I ate kibble (head hanging in shame) and now my numbers are high. I made my bean worry. The good news is, they are steadily coming down on their own without juice. I hope you won't be mad at me and take away my party because my BG would still be good if I hadn't fallen off the wagon.

awwwwww checks ... it's ok buddy .. we all have to deal with temptation! It's just real good that your numbers are coming down on their own .. that's what counts .. and I don't think anyone is going to take away your party .. you earned it! I hope your beanz is feeling ok and is up to watching your video at some point .. :-D

Barb....I never realized he was such a gorgeous shimmery gray!!! I thought he was black. But I love his OTJ video and he is absolutely even more gorgeous
than I always thought.

What a special day for you!!! We're so happy!!!

Well, this is one of the more embarrassing days of my life. This is the reason I was desperate for him to be off insulin by surgery time. It was my medicine-head, that was the cause of my negligence during the night, and let Checks get into kibble.

It took over a year, but just maybe I learned to transition the civvies to wet, and never put the &^%# dry food out again. I can never screw up my baby again, through my own negligence.

The first few days home, I kept complaining about having the shakes and foggy head, but didn't know which med it was. I found out last night, when I took muscle relaxant. Fourteen hours later, I am still not clear headed.
I was grateful that Susan posted for me.
She came to mow for me, and kindly vacuumed the whole house.

Thank you for not beating me up over this!

Oh barb .. no one is going to beat you up over this .. accidents happen, and you have the meds to blame :-D Look at him coming down so nicely .. he says, momma, relax!!!

Kibble Happens! This is just one more proof of how well he is doing! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Loved CDs video and that it is "official!"

Transitioning the civvies to wet food will make everyone's life easier, especially yours.

Well I guess s@#t happens Checkers and not everyone is perfect....just don't eat that stuff again *shaking finger at you* tsk tsk tsk.

I LOVES ME SOME KIBBLE...and i race the bean to the bedroom daily just to see if she forgot to put it up!!

i generally avoid temptation, unless i can't resist it- mae west.

it'll be good to have kibble out of the house.

ah checks.... what will we do with you.... no more kibble for you buddy, OK? Do we have to send the kibble police?

And barb - its ok, really. Just toss the kibble. I can relate. down in the deep recesses of my garage is a bin of.... kibble.... yes, me too. I have yet to figure out why it is still there. no clue. I am glad though that you have figured out the medicine thing - that must have been very frustrating for you. But no worries, OK?

You take care, heal, rest. and especially enjoy this day, it is official now: checkers is OTJ. something you both so well deserve. Enjoy it!
