Kitties are chilling. Good thing -- we're expecting 90+ degree weather for today and through the weekend. Gizmo is trying to get Gabby's attention but hasn't quite figured out that it works best with face washing vs. swatting. Silly kitten!

Nice start for Gabby! Chilling is a great way to start out a Friday. That is hot for you guys already. My family in Iowa said it was 90 there yesterday. We are running around 100, which is about 10 degrees above normal. Stay cool and have a great day Sienne!

90 degrees! That is hot! I though we are hot here with 31 degrees. We have the aircon on all day & is sure worsening the green house effect. :oops:

Hi guys .. pretty numbers for gabby .. my girls have also heard of the upcoming heat wave and have taken precautions .. you know, draping themselves over the AC vents :lol: have a great weekend!

I had a very good Idea of what may go on when I'm not home! I had a doctor's appointment today for one of those annual sort of exams that all women love. Of course, it was in the middle of the day, so I took the day off. I'm having friends over for dinner tomorrow so I doing some cooking and prep. At one point, I heard an odd noise. Gabby was sitting on a side table staring out of the window that overlooks my balcony. She was clearly teasing Gizmo. she then leaped to the dining room table so she could supervise my work in the kitchen. Silly me. I thought the cats slept all day.

Daytime shennanigans? How dare she! She's changing the face of cat behaviour as we all know it or thought we did ;-)

Funny, when I was working, I always had the strangest feeling that when I closed the door (at that time I had 4 kitties), they would all get up and start running around and getting up and down on stuff, and just going crazy, and when I get home, they would go back to their beds.

Gabby had one nice green in there, hope for some more this weekend, although not too green since you will be busy with your dinner guest.

Kitties probably think that we just go somewhere else to sleep all day. :lol: Thank you, I am feeling better thanks to the ABs, ibuproferen, and Anne. Maybe I should list Anne first though. :lol: I think I would rather have an annual exam than food poisoning though. What a choice. :roll: 40% humidity isn't too bad.

40% humidity is considered dry in Hongkong. During this summer season, we are usually around 70% ! Hot & humid. But, we still need to use moisturzer & cream for our beautiful face because of the drying aircon everywhere.

Do they sleep when we're not at home? Yes, they do, but ECID. some will sleep through the whole day & start their engine when we're back home. Some will walk around, patrolling. How do I know? I have a view cam installed to watch over them in the sitting room. When I am not home, I can access through my mobile phone. Yes, I am a control freak! :lol: :lol:
