Yesterday's Condo

Another flat blue day. Cinco got my hopes up with that lagoon drive-by last night. We'll see where he is when we get home from bowling tonight, but tomorrow may well bring a dosecrease. Appy is still ravenous.

I may give Minka another dose of Zyrtec. It makes Cinco so hungry. She ate about half of her breakfast this morning, only after tummy meds had kicked in. I want to try to head off a bad day if I can. She also ate a few bites during fluids. Nothing like the appy of the past few days. She's napping now, but when she wakes I'll give her the Zyrtec.

Sasha threw up some foam this morning. Not normal for her. I gave her the usual dose of Pepcid and Ondansetron and two hours later she ate most of her breakfast. She finished it off a while later and just now had a good sized snack. Seems to be fine.

Harvey didn't like this morning's entree. I held out for a couple of hours but finally caved because I needed to give him his meds. He devoured option #2, so it was obviously a pickiness issue, not a tummy issue. :rolleyes:

Still cool and breezy, but hand hurting too much to do yard work. I have some easy indoor tasks I'll take care of, then off to get my garlic pretzel bit fix. I hope everyone is having a good Monday.

Cinco there's a dosecrease threat. You better head back to the lagoon. I hope the girls appies get better. I'm glad Harvey finally ate. I guess he had to be a cat.

Hope you get your bowling and garlic knot fix tonight! Appy vines to Minka, I must have missed it, but what made you try the Zyrtec? Are you using it specifically for appy issues or is that just a happy side effect?

Cinco stayed on the Blue floor for PMPS, barely. I don't expect him to drop a lot, but he is a cat, so I loaded up Otto with LC.

Minka's appy was still so-so, but she doesn't act like she doesn't feel well, so not sure what that's about. @Patricia & Noodle, Cinco was put on Zyrtec for possible allergies, and Elise told me some people use it as an appetite stimulant. I figured it was worth a try with Minka. It doesn't seem to work as well as Mirtz or Cypro, but it also doesn't have as much of the side effect of making her restless and talkative. Cinco was having a summer appy before he started on it, and now he's absolute ravenous every time I bring him food. Figures. He's the one that needs that the least! :rolleyes:

We are at the bowling alley, so it won't be long now till I get my fix of garlic pretzel bites. :woot:
 
I hope you are enjoying those garlic pretzel bites as I type! Now I'm hungry.

Cinco - time to get a move on, no more teasing with that toe touch in the lagoon. Time to dive in. But later.

Here's hoping that one day soon, you won't have to worry about eating at your house.
 
C'mon, little buddy, where`s all that green we were seeing for a while there? Well, at least Mama got out for her garlic pretzel bites, yum!

Enjoy your bowling night Tricia!! Hopefully Cinco will have read his condo and knows there's a dosecrease threat out there and will be in the lagoon when you return...but not out too deep of course!

Cinco was not in the lagoon, or even close, when we got home. I left him LC food, too, instead of the usual 8%. We are going to go ahead and increase to .5 in the morning. Hang in there, China. I'm trying to get him to go back to work!

Everyone had eaten their evening snack while we were gone. Minka opted out of the first offering for late dinner, but ate about half a serving of the second choice. Guess the Zyrtec didn't do much. :( However, she DID eat, so all is not lost. I'll keep offering her food until I go to bed, and since her usual MO on days like this is to eat little bits here and there, we may get enough calories in her. Paws crossed that tomorrow is a better day for her.

@Wendy&Neko, that would be heavenly. We've had a day here and there when they all ate, but not a string of them together. Someone always has to be difficult. :rolleyes: I do long for the days when I put the plates down and everyone CPC'd 'em just like that!

Gotta go hand out meds and get the fluids warming for Minka. BBL.
