Flat cat is back! Should hear back from the vet with some bloodwork information today. His 3rd eyelid is still up a little. Still pondering having a dental done at some point.

Such beautiful numbers for Buster the last couple of day. Keep it up Buster! I hope the bloodwork comes out just fine.

Vet called with bloodwork results. Said liver and kidneys are fine, but cholesterol was a bit high at 284. I'm pondering trying to find a lower fat food from the list, but I'm not excited to change anything since he's doing so well. She said since it wasn't up over 300 it wasn't a big concern. We both agreed that if he stays in good numbers he should probably have a dental soon. I guess we'll never know what that spike was and I hope it doesn't come back. Just glad to see him get it back under control. If it happens again I will try a different pen.

Lazy day - just woke up from a good nap. Haven't done that in awhile. Should probably do it more often!

Yay for good BW! And for good numbers! :-D :-D Did Buster nap with you? We got rain! Well, enough to get the sidewalks wet. :roll: :lol:

Maybe the spike was a reaction to the zyrtec?

RAIN?!?!?! I would love a rainy day right now. Can't wait for monsoons! Dale, good thought. Could be, I suppose. I prolly jumped the gun on the whole thing, but he was due for an annual anyway. Plus, I wanted to look at his teef.

Great news! It's not unusual for FD cats to have elevated cholesterol. I don't think his looks bad at all!

We actually had thunder, lightening, and a five minute downpour. Then everything was bone dry again but it had cooled down.
 
Hmmm - Buster just dropped a big ol' poop on the carpet! It was perfectly formed, but huuuuge. Maybe that's what had his numbers off. I saw some small prezzies in the LB the other day. It's hard for me to monitor because he usually goes outside in the corners of the yard. I pick it up, but not regularly, so I don't know when the last deposit was made. I have also discovered our drooler occasionally likes to dine on it :shock: Anywhoo - such fun talking about poo in LL - haha!

Gonna go do a rain dance...or, I could just turn on the sprinklers :lol:
