Good Morning, Everyone,
Cold and damp, but only mist coming down. We are supposed to have sunshine later today and I can't wait. Rusty is relaxing on his perch after breakfast (2 sittings), test and shot. Shadow kitty was at the back door this morning when I took Edward to his yoga class, but was no longer here when I got back. I'll tell Rusty that Shadow is invited to the Red Moon Party tomorrow, if he wants to invite him.

The cellar is improving greatly. The new dehumidifier is wonderful. There are only a few spots where water is still collecting on the floor. I hope this means that the water table is dropping. Stay tuned for updates on this important story!!

I hope that Rusty's range of numbers will come down today. He's been trending too high again. I think I'll schedule a vet appt. for the middle of next week (after we get back from the paddle we are leading from camp) to have a check-up, a blood panel, etc. And to get his nails clipped. He's been scratching one of his ears and the scratching is causing 3 or 4 tiny sores and scabs, which he then opens up by more scratching. His ears are clean and It doesn't look like the descriptions of ear mites, but I want to get it checked out.

Hope everyone has a good day and we are thinking good thoughts for Tray, Tessie Lou, Rocket, and all kitties not feeling up to par.

Nice numbers for Rusty this morning, albeit a little high for him.

Great news on the cellar!!! Hopefully the water table has dropped and it will clear up. Is this a yearly issue?

Hi guys .. I hope that rusty can bring that number down later on .. it's not a bad one, but I know it's higher for him .. I'm so glad the dehumidifier is working in your cellar .. Hopefully that ends this whole ordeal! Have a great day guys!

Hope nothing is brewing with Rusty's ears. And his numbers come down again.

Woo hoo on the cellar front! So glad that the dehumidifier is working so well... fingers and paws crossed that the water table drops for you!

Hope that all goes well at the vet next week and that you get to the bottom of the ear itches. Willie's been doing the same thing. He's also been trending a bit high numberswise... you think the grillin boys are in cahoots???

Rusty will be back down, he is so reliable with his numbers. i hope there is nothig wrong on the ear front.

Thank goodness the cellar is finally drying out. I hope they can permanently fix it once the current flow stops. It seems like it has been going on forever. Have you ever thought that you might be able to have your own spring in your cellar? :lol:

I do so hope you get your sunshine. We are gloomy here too this morning - I so hope for the sun they say is coming.

Rusty! Dude!!! We have our party location!! Gracie wants to host - in the desert! We got the whole desert to search for the red moon, and yowl and howl and all sorts of things. You going to invite Shadow? That would be so cool! See you later for more party planning? ~ Mannie

Hi again, Today seems to be another one of those days of higher and higher with no apparent reason (or one could say, flat with upward creep). We are only on day 34 of this Lev. cartridge, so I don't think the insulin is pooping out (42 days is the manufacturer's limit). I may go up in dose in the next few days to 1 unit (from a fat 0.75).
I made an appointment with the vet for a wellness check-up next Wednesday.
Rusty enjoyed himself this afternoon outdoors in the sunshine (! yes sunshine). He saw the chipmunk and had fun chasing some bugs. And this morning he and Shadow had another "meeting" and later we had some good games indoors with "Big Bug".

Off now to condos. The cellar looks good tonight!!!

I'm sorry his numbers are trending upward with no apparent reason but I hope when you do the dosecrease, that it brings him back down. I wonder if the ear issue is causing some problem....maybe he has an ear infection???

I'm glad he got out some today and you got a little sunshine!!

Sorry for the numbers Ella - especially when there is no reason for it. What's up Rusty? Your ears maybe? Or? Well I hope that when you do his increase that it will bring the numbers down to a more normal Rusty range.

YAY for the sunshine! HOORAY! nice too that Shadow paid Rusty a visit. :-D

A double hooray on the cellar! Could this be the beginning of the end of the nightmare? Paws crossed!

Sorry about Rusty's numbers--Moonie's numbers are on the upswing too--Guess we will need to raise maybe a little..Hope His ear is ok also--Full Moon somehow may affect Rusty do you think??

I'm glad the cellar is looking good (anti-jinx). I'm sorry Rusty's numbers are a little off. Wouldn't it be nice if they could tell us if something was bothering them. Just a bump in the road. Hopefully he will be back to Rusty numbers soon. Good luck if you dosecrease.

Come on down a bit Rusty....but just a little. This is coming up to a full moon and lunar eclipse...so take it easy!
Glad the dehumidifier is working well in your basement. those things are wonderful! Fingers croseed that it will keep getting drier and drier.....
 
Wow, 191 at +4.5!! I'm sure I didn't give a fur shot. Maybe the insulin is toast? Rusty isn't acting sick or under the weather. I think I'll bring him up to 1 unit tomorrow morning.

Hmmm..... I'm wondering if Rusty is going to read his condo overnight and cause you to think twice about that dosecrease. (Rusty -- did you hear that? Dosecrease is in your future.)
