Yesterday, Neko managed to stick to just two colours. :-D

I had a happy little kitty when I got up at +9 for rowing/test. Neko flopped on the rug, belly up, purring and asking for belly rubs. After the test when I was writing it in the spreadsheet, I felt something odd, and It was Neko licking my foot. cat_pet_icon She's got such a gentle tongue compared to the civie.

Today I'm going to a funeral service (family of friend) just after noon, so Neko decides to give me a 75 for AMPS. :o Of course I shot the full dose. The nice thing about Neko on Levemir is that she'll just be a couple of hours into onset by the time I get back.(antijinx) I'll test before I go and if needed give her an HC boost. With Neko on Levemir, it's like things move a lot more slowly that she did on Lantus.

OT: Multiple moon jelly fish sightings on the water, one eagle carrying a fish, and multiple seals checking us out. The red tide has reached us, making the water a strange dark brown colour. For those who didn't see it, here's a picture of one of our junior rowers that made it to the top 10 pictures of the world last week. And another one showing what the morning on the water looks like.

Love that amps! Such a pretty shade of green. :mrgreen: How nice that yesterday only involved two colors! Way to go Neko! I am glad that the Lev is working well for you. I had considered it for Mannie, but could never get the nadirs to work with my schedule... :roll: Sorry about the funeral. I hope Neko will surf well so you won't worry.

The photos are great. I really enjoyed them. That is my fav time of day,

How sweet of Neko to give you a distraction to think about while at a funeral. Our kitties are such givers. I hope it all goes as well as those things can go.

The pictures are spectacular. I might even be convinced to get up in the mornings for such a wonderful sport. ;-)

What great numbers. How sweet Neko was licking your foot. I'm sorry about your friend's family. I hope Neko surfs safely while you're out.

:mrgreen: Wasn't that nice of Neko to start your day off with a smile!! And what lovely colors - Tiger is wearing the colours of the Swedish Flag today. Glad you got to go to the Quilter's Guild, I'm an amateur quilter too btw and also, thanks for the poop lesson yesterday :o

I am so sorry to hear about your friend's funeral, but glad you were able to go safely, that's a relief and a plus side to Lev.

Neko did well for you today with her numbers. Good girl! Please extend our sympathy to your friend.

Great pics of the rowers at daybreak. And neat that you saw so much wildlife on your row today.

We looked at all the tables at the farmers' market today and none of the farmers had garlic scapes yet. Maybe next week. Enjoy yours! The rosemary, oregano, and Italian parsley in our little greenhouse are doing great. Delicious!

Condolences to you for the loss of your family friend. May you and the family find peace at this time.

Neko is looking gorgeous! I love the soft tongue licks. :smile: One of our civies, Princess, licks our legs while we're getting fuds ready.

I love seeing pictures of the cove where you live. I will admit to being just the tiniest bit jealous. :-D

Neko was a good girl today, saving her nadir for PMPS again. Sometimes they just seem to know when it's a good time for higher numbers. Just before dinner she was playing with her toys, which are near where we sit while we were watching the World Cup. I think she might be moving a little easier. I sure hope that is the gabapentin helping her.

Service today was a long one, full church and standing room at the back. Our friend has a very large extended family, to which we and others non family are included. Part of the legacy of his mother whose service it was. She had a full life, it was a good celebration, I'm glad we got to go.

@Michelle, Anne, Carla, Ruth, Ella, Mariko, Jen - Thanks for keeping my mostly blue and green girl company while we were out. I'm glad we got to go. Neko seems to feeling good today, even if the solarium is a bit cool in the drizzle of a cool Juneary day. :roll: Thanks for admiring our cove, we rowers were all quite pumped by the pics that made several newspapers around the world (Canada, US, New Zealand that we noticed). Ella - yummy on the herbs, ours are coming along too. :-D Might be next week for us on the scapes too, just started.

Thanks for coming by yesterday. Hershey has decided to have another jammy party tonight, so I thought I'd take a minute to visit.

Looks like Neko had a good day (as far as numbers go). Nice that she is pretty predictable for you on Levemir. Hershey thinks it's his mission to be as unpredictable as possible. :roll:

Sorry to hear about your friend's mom, sweet that so many attended. I had a family member who always said when he died that the only people who'd come would be those he owed money to. Over 300 people came to the funeral home; there was a line all night. And, I didn't see a bill collector in the bunch. ;-)

Nice photos. Funny, I'm terrified of water, but I love going to the beach and watching the ocean. How fortunate you are to live in such a beautiful place.

What a considerate girl Neko was today! She's looking so good on this dose. So you must be at 51 cycles now? Very cool.

I'm so sorry about your friend. I'm glad you were able to go to the service.

The photos are beautiful. Wow....the morning shot..I love it. I envisioned those big boats with a ton of people rowing in them.

@Libby - Might be having my own jammy party in a few hours. Neko's not entirely predictable but getting more so. 4 cycles in a row without yellow is a bit much for her liver, so I wasn't surprised at today's daytime yellow floor visit.

@Marje - Last year I was on one Lantus dose for 3 months, it kept on giving me the nadirs I wanted. My goals are a bit different - preferably 70's nadirs so she doesn't bounce too much and mostly under renal threshold. Both pics were in the morning. I'm often in a boat with 4 people but we don't have any bigger boats.

Those pictures are gorgeous.

You and Marje make lev look more and more tempting. I guess it's nice and steady for some.I guess if you have a diver it would still be hard. So looks like you are having a pj party as well. Too bad we are all spread out!!
 
Elise - Lev can make some cats flatter, but for me means I'm getting up at 3-4 in the morning for nadir checks. :roll: Now I get a short snooze until then.
 
It's so nice that Neko gave you clearance to attend the services for your friend's mother. Our kitties can be very compassionate. I'm sorry for your loss.

The pictures are indeed lovely, but I still would rather not see that particular sight in person - I am NOT a morning person! Now sunset on a lake would be my cup of tea! :lol:

I hope Neko surfs safely for you tonight and you get some rest.
