He might just prove you wrong, Jordan. You know how cats are. The way Willow has been going, I'd get a +2 or +3, and set a middle of the night alarm.

I'm a night animal too, but I've been feel sick all week so all I've been wanting to do is get sleep and it hasn't happened yet lol. The furry purry little party animal is snuggled up on the bed asleep. :mrgreen:

HC and/or honey isn't a bad idea.

This may be left over action from the depot. Given the numbers in the 30s the other evening, you may have needed to take a full reduction. I'd suggest a skinny 1.0u in the AM unless Willow bounces to the moon.

We're definitely dropping to s1. I'd rather have to add more later if necessary then risk him dropping like this again when I'm not here.

ETA: he's eating his HC/honey mix and getting a serious case of the grumpies. I've just discovered 3 places where he threw up during the day, so I'm guessing he was low during the day too (since that tends to make him pukey unless I'm encouraging him to eat)

I don't like that he's still not coming up. He's had HC, honey, and karo. He just ate a little more, but I'm gonna rub some karo on his gums for good measure.

He must have a very full shed. Just keep up with the karo, honey, or HC. And you know once it all wears off, he can come back down. Will he eat any HC food/ gravy?

Pls retest after 30 and post.

He's barely eating. He's not his usually happy self. Even at these numbers, he's usually pretty spunky. I've been rubbing karo on his gums/lips for him to lick off.

Looks like it is working slowly. Will he let you syringe a HC gravy/karo mix? You could be at this a while with lev.

He won't use the litterbox until he thinks I'm asleep. He just threw up under the bed and still won't eat.

And he's going down again. I've run out of tricks to get him to eat. He went nuts when I tried to syringe feed.

Jordan...you don't think he should go to the ER? I'm just worried if he comes back down as the HC wears off.

The ER wasn't very supportive last time I couldn't get his numbers up. They were very critical of my testing. In addition, I don't have the money, so I'm trying to avoid it, if possible.

I understand. You know him best. Do you have any plain bay food without anything in it but chicken or turkey? If he would eat that, you could add some karo to it.
 
Yay, a 94! His vet is in tomorrow, so if we make it through the night without having to head to the ER, and he's still acting this way, I'll bring him in to the vet in the morning. I have a feeling on top of the lows the past couple of days, he's on the verge of a CP flare up.
 
Whew....I'm glad he's up but sad he's feeling so bad.

I'm afraid you might have a long night unless he starts to bounce. As much as I don't want him to do that, at least he would be safe if he isn't going to eat.
 
Thanks for staying up with us tonight. He's up to 102 now. He's still very verbal in a sad way (seems uncomfortable and bloated to me, hes always like that with a CP flare), but he has a faint purr!!
 
Woohoo!!!! He's now purring more loudly and being more responsive and voluntarily walked over to his dish to eat!! I'm leaving out the HC/Karo mix since I'll likely fall asleep like I did last night, and I'm sure his numbers will be off the charts tomorrow, but after the last two night, if I do fall asleep, I'll feel more comfy if he has access to HC.

Oh poor Jordan and Willow. I hope Willow is feeling better today, and Jordan I hope you got at least some deep sleep.
