Today hasn't been too swell for the cats or I. Not only was the power out from 3am-1pm, but this completely flipped their schedule and mine, so I wouldn't put it past those numbers to be partially due to stress.

But I am wondering, is it an okay thing to increase early by .25u? Such as tomorrow morning?

Sorry to hear that , Cindy. That has to be hard on allow you. Can you all go stay with grandpa?

I've asked Wendy to pop over and see what she thinks. I think you are seeing NDW right now. I thought it would be ok to add another's .25u fairly soon after the first increase...but not sure after four cycles.

Sorry to hear about your bummer day. Hope you didn't loose any food or insulin. We had power out today as well, but not like yours.
I hope whatever dose you guys decide will work out!

Hope you have a better day tomorrow!

Well, I still live with my grandpa. But the power did come back on at 1pmish. Took until about 7pm to recover from the complete schedule flip, but that means that hopefully tomorrow things will be great. At least it looks like it won't rain again until Sunday.

Thanks. Sorry I didn't see your post until it was a bit too late.

Cindy, sorry to hear about the power going out. Sounds like you had some stormy weather there.

I'm trying to see how long Tip has NDW and sometimes it seems as long as the 5th cycle. I wonder if it makes sense to wait one more cycle, then maybe take it up by .5U. The nadirs have all been above 200 at this dose.

It doesn't seem like it. Keeping the insulin cold was a top priority, though the colby cheese may have gone bad. It tasted a little dry and chalky when I tried some earlier. Blech. That seems about the only food though. Weird that my county didn't seem to get the brunt of the storm, but had a ton of power outages.
