Good Morning, Everyone,

We're off to NYC with a batch of inaccurate MJ syringes. I had to use the calipers this morning because there was insulin all the way up in the hub. I drew only to the 1-unit line (Rusty's dose is supposed to be a fat 1.5). Will try to figure it out before PMPS! In any event, Rusty will probably vomit up his breakfast and therefore if the dose was too little, it will at least be safer??? I'm about to order from Hocks some BD syringes.

Will post again this evening. Everyone have a good day,

Ella & Rusty

Ella, have a safe trip to all of you. Sending tummy vines for Rusty and hope he does well with the car ride. That has to be so frustrating with the syringes. I hope the calipers can be of some help.
Rusty, see ya later in the city, Mags

Re: 6/13 Rusty AMPS 70

I'm getting in an order of Sure Comfort syringes today...let's hope they're better than the Monojects!!

Hope Rusty kept his breakfast down!!!

Re: 6/13 Rusty AMPS 70

We've ordered monojets from ADW and from Hocks and even though different batch numbers, the quality if equally appalling. I am looking forward to a report on the BD syringes and the sure comfort syringes! Liz will be home tonight so we will start working with the calipers, but if there are better quality syringes out there, I'd love to know about them!

Rusty, you are a beautiful central park green this morning! Have a great time in the Cerenia. I read something recently about using cerenia for motion sickness in dogs, wonder if it would work for Rusty before a car ride? You can get in tablets and it is not expensive, but a prescription is required.

Have a safe trip (wait a minute, with the time difference and this lazy bean's btb, you are probably there by now @-)  ) I hope all went well on the trip! ;-)

Nice start to the day, I hope everything goes smoothly on the trip, Rusty sure looks like he is in good shape for it!

Re: 6/13 Rusty AMPS 70

Yea Yea YEA!!!!! Here you all come to our beautiful city!! I cant wait to see you Sunday!
I am still using BD and just got a new box for nothing(got many over the years) because of the printing inaccuracy, but I keep one good one as a reference--This new batch werent bad--I have to send the bad ones to them--Got my free box coupon already--Just have to learn how to outsmart them at their own game!!
But really, just want good syringes!!!

Rusty--No vomiting, no upset, hope you had a comfortable trip--
Nice amps for the road--Speak to you soon--Huggies & Love from us!!

Hi again,
We're here and Rusty had a good trip: no vomits, no complaints. He was a perfect passenger. A couple of days ago I got a gps for my car and it worked splendidly. Even when I tried to outwit it it didn't m iss a beat. And it enabled us to avoid some bad traffic by warning us about it and then offering a faster route. WOW.

I was overjoyed to find a few old-lot MJ syringes here in the cuppoard. I will have a few days of accurate doses! I couldn't order the BD syringes this morning because NY state requires a prescription. ADW doesn't sell the 31 gauge with 1/2 unit markings and I would need another prescription for Hocks (and they are on backorder there i n any event.). In a couple of weeks Rusty will have a dental and I will ask the vet for another prescription. I plan to practice with the calipers this week.

I won't be doing the bike ride tomorrow: it will be a 60-mile ride into New Jersey and the most mileage I've done this year is about 25. oh well, i have a lot to do to keep busy: some shopping, walking, etc. maybe I'll ride down to Brooklyn and back by myself. And I'll be able to spend more time with Rusty, who is always bored here!

Thanks for visiting. Everyone have a good evening. Sorry about typos on this device.

Hey kitties, Central Park tomorrow. Hot dog carts, tourists, see you all then.

Hi Ella - sorry for the late post. I am so glad that Rusty had a good trip - that is wonderful! Very nice numbers too! I wish you luck with the syringes - I know how frustrated you are with all of it.

Sorry to on the no bike ride, but wow on the 60 miles. I think the solo venture to Brooklyn would be fun. I hope you can make that one. I bet Rusty will be glad for the company. :-D

Enjoy tomorrow. Mannie already has his bags packed!.

Darn syringes! I even found same lot number syringes where the needle was into the hub differently causing changes indorse that you can't do anything about.

Enjoy NYC. Hope Rusty made the trip just fine.

Nice travel day for Rusty. I think he is getting used to it.

Bummer on the ride and and the syringes. I hope you find a better solution.
