Morning ~O) a nice blue AMPS! Good news, Maggie had prezzies late last night. Detective Poo, check! I smelled the aroma and got up at 11 pm to scoop the box. Mags kept circling around the bed, so I got back up at midnight and opened a can of Cowboy Cookout as she was fussy with the Wellness. I've just stayed up since 12 am cleaning up. This time it was super soft and got all over the LB and everywhere. Poor Mags as she really can't help it. Mags got a half bath and seemed to be okay with it. If I do a little less of the Miralax, she gets blocked too easily. I don't think I went over her doses, as I always write it down when I give the Miralax with the time, but it's possible I got distracted.

Elsa Lil Bit, I think I may need extra triple espressos today and 10 Hour Energy Coffee, thanks a bunch.
I have an early hair appt, and need to return a phone at Walmart on my way if I can get out the door early enough. There's a nice Petco a few miles away from the salon afterwards, so I'll check out their Wellness in hopes for the Canada cans. My PetFoodDirect Wellness won't arrive until late today. I didn't realize it would take so long, no patience pants on waiting for Maggie fuds.

Have a nice day. Healing vines to all kitties and veans needing them.

Re: 6/13 Maggie AMPS 157

Nice blue Maggie! Oh poor girl on the half bath. Tarragon was not amused either. It happens huh? Enjoy your hair appt. Nothing like a spruce up to make you feel good. Of course you have to stop and get Mags something while you are out. Have a great day Ann!

Yipee on the pretty blue AMPS and the stinky prezzies! I see I don't have to pink slip that lazy Poo Fairy after all  Ah, the aroma of a fresh poo!!! Wow on the cleaning~OCD? I know all about the messie prezzies~the only thing that works for Gobbles is the ReNew probiotic (if you haven't tried it and want to give it a shot, PM me and I'll give you a link directly to which product that I, and many others, use and will find you a promo code--they change, but I always find one somewhere). Have a wonderful day, don't clean too much more and thanks for visiting Gobbles' condo! We're sending firm poopy vines ~~~

Re: 6/13 Maggie AMPS 157

Good morning Ann. Whew, you've put in a full day already. YAY on the amps and rats on the poo. Well, i guess not really rats. We want prezzies. I guess we'll just send vines for nice, no need for a bath poo.
Enjoy your hair appt. It's important to pamper yourself a little. ....and shop for Mags. :-D :-D

Re: 6/13 Maggie AMPS 157

Hi, Ann, Wow you've been busy! Poor sweeties (Mags for having a messy poo and bath, and you for enduring the clean-up), but yay for poo!
Enjoy your hair appt.! Good luck with the fuds ~ hope you can find the good cans at Petco!

It looks like Mags wants to rest and will give a nice, relaxing surf! :-D

Thanks Melissa, Kat, Mary and Josie for the visits. Mags doesn't seem to get too stressed with the half baths, but it's a big fat "no" on the wipes or the comb near her tushie.
Kat, I'll pm and take a look at the Renew and check with Maggie's vet.

Re: 6/13 Maggie AMPS 157; +3 111

Nice start for Mag's today. Yay for prezzies! I know it's such a fine line between "bath time prezzie" and "enema prezzies". At least Maggie is getting used to the baths, and I'm sure she thinks they are far better than enemas! It's so funny that she puts her foot down about the wipes, but not having her tush dunked in a tub of water!!

Good luck with the continued fuds hunt, and have a great day, Ann!

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O)

What a nice cycle shaping up for Maggie. So steady - surf well today Maggie. Maybe a dip into the lagoon?

YAY! Prezzies! Sorry for the butt wash Maggie, but you is good to go now. :-D Bummer on the LB. Funny that you should say she doesn't mind her butt dunked in the water, but hates the wipes. Mannie was the same way.... Silly kitties!

Enjoy your hair appt, good luck with the fuds hunt. LOL on those patience pants while waiting for your delviery. ;-)

Have a great day today.

Hi Ann. Maggie is looking good today. Got a chuckle from the aroma therapy your treated you with during the night.

Have a great night Ann.

Re: 6/13 Maggie AMPS 157; +3 111

Hey, guess what kids!! I just received my order from PetFoodDirect, and the Wellness Turkey are the ones "made in Canada" the consistency that Maggie loves! Now I can return the cans I bought at Petco and exchange for other products. I know this was just a coincidence but how lucky. I've only ordered from this company once before that I remember.

Thanks Amy, Michelle, and John for the visits. It's not too bad at all with the partial bath. I don't know what is is with the wipes Mags hates!

Re: 6/13 Maggie AMPS 157; +3 111

:-D :-D :-D :-D for the right fuds arriving! Of course it was after you just got back from Petco, right?

I had been skeptical about psyllium doing much for cats from what I've read, but Emma's have bulked up and not so runny and Tess is not so hard. Emma gets 1/4 tsp BID and Tess 1/8tsp. Plus it is a pre-biotic, which feeds the pro-biotic bacteria we are giving them.

Blue surfs are good too, Mags!

Re: 6/13 Maggie AMPS 157; +3 111

That's great you got the Wellness and it is the kind Maggie likes. Yay on the poo, but sorry it was a mess to clean up. Poor Maggie. At least she doesn't seem to mind the half baths.

PMPS 164

Not too bad an ending.

Thanks Ann for the info on psyllium. That's great it's helping Emma and Tess. I know of another Bean who also uses it on her furbabies. I'd need to check with the Vet on it, as I'm afraid of rocking the boat with Mags, even if the poo is too soft. She takes Cisapride to help the colon muscles contract and the Miralax as a laxative. I don't know how the psyllium would react with those two. :?

Thanks Carla, mags is a Happy Camper with her Bean finding the right fuds.

Hi Ann.....I so admire how you deal with Mags' health issues. I'm terrified every time Checks get a poo problem, for fear it'll turn into a big production. You're so knowledgeable, and I'd have to learn everything from scratch.

Don'tcha just love, getting out of bed in the middle of the night to scoop? Done it lots of times, not to give the kids a clean box, but can't sleep with poo perfume in the air

I'm glad Miss Mags doesn't mind the bottom baths anymore. Checks doesn't like the wipes, unless I rinse it first in warm water. I think it's cause they're perfumed. Yuck on perfumed kitty butt.. :-D

Do you feel good, all doodied up? I also got hair done today, and picked up Checks all time favorite deli roasted chicken.
It's good to be pampered once in a while, huh?

Hi Ann,
Glad you got the right Wellness!
And glad about Maggie's poo too!
Messy poo is always much better than no poo.

I'm using the same type of laxative, mines called "PEG 3350 powder".
It's working very nicely for Lucy.
I give about 1/8 tsp once a day, and her poo changed from nuggetty to soft, sometimes a bit softer than I like, but it's easier on a senior cat like Lucy... she doesn't have to strain as much ;-)

Detective Poo here, making a late visit. Yay for prezzies! :-D :-D :-D Well done, Mags! Nice numbers today, too, even if you didn't quite make the lagoon.
Liz
