Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (DGS fuel!), and Happy Fursday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat ! I sooooooooooooooooo love my business name - thank you Auntie Ann! I have the bestest job ever. Mannie was so right - being a barista is so mega cool. PawPrints Pizza has been mega busy - Rusty says they can help with the New Moon parties, maybe cater them. How cool is that? Bug and Lola are very excited! I am soooooooo happy for them. Now if they'd just clean up betters.... so. well. anyways. onwards! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from Papua New Guinea, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings......... YUM!!! I LUVS peppermint whip, almost as much as choco! and no worries! an Ice cream dollop included: peppermint candied chips and choco swirl ice cream. YUMMMMMMMM!

Yesterday was swim day for Nicholas, with his dad. From yesterday's post: " What a great day at the pool. it was so fun to have Nicholas's dad there too. The energizer FISH did not disappoint. Jason was able to get him to swim the width of the bigger pool underwater. Impressive! He'd then go and sit on the bottom of the pool, asking Nicholas to come and get him once he was there. And he did, made most of the tries. That was fun too. It was great to see both father and son having such a good time. Kudos to his dad for surviving 2.5 hours in the pool. :-D  We went and did the trail be the pool afterwards, so that Nicholas could show his dad all the salmonberries. We had our very own trail guide.  Nicholas was so proud to show his dad all his fav places. It really was very cute." Here's the Picassa link to the photos, and the videos (swim only): On the trail, a berry hunt!, and Swimming with Dad

Lola and Bug had a follow up vetty appointment last night. They did very well. Although it was WWIII to get them into their carriers. Neither one of them wanted to have a thing to do with that. :o  I now have new battle scars.... LOL: the score - Lola: 24, Bug 18, Bean: 2 Bean wins by default - I got them into the carrier, blood dripping from my arm.   oh well, all part of "getting the cat to the vet". Bug does have a blockage in one of his ears - excessive ear wax, so he is on meds for that for a week to see if we can get it to clear. If it doesn't then the vet will mildly sedate him so she can remove it,. He has some tartar buildup too, so if she has to sedate him then she will do a "quickie dental" and remove the tartar at that time. We should know on that in a week. Lola is good to go, and mellowed out alot after she got her canned cheese from the vet tech.    Silly cat! she loves that canned cheese that comes out of the can in a string of cheese.... Here are some photos that I took of Lola, Bug and Elsa yesterday: The Three Musketeers!

Have a great day everyone! Nicholas and I will be out on an adventure today -hopefully a river. I need to check the weather and make sure before we head n out in a few. Dad more than likely will stay home with mom and William, and help out around the house, help with the shopping etc. Unless.... Nicholas can convince him he needs to join us on a river trip. I hope to be able to get to condos later in the day. :-D :-D My daughter took this photo of William yesterday - Thought I'd share:

And kitties! THINK BLUE!! THINK GREEN!!

Omg ~ I can't stop smiling!

Good luck with the ear treatment for Bug! (I bet Lola thinks SHE untimately won due to the fact that she got a canned cheese treat  )

Enjoy your day, Michelle ~ take care of those battle wounds.
:-D  :-D

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O)

THX, I thought so too. Best pic ever. :-D THX too on Bug, hopefully just the cleaning will take care of the problem. and I agree with Lola: SCORE! CHEESE!  Will do too on the battle wounds. silly cats.....

Awww.....on the beautiful baby pic. Great shots of Dad and Nicholas swimming and berry hunting and Nicholas falling asleep after a hard day's play. Oh my on the wounds. They just hate those carriers.EsHey Elsa, I luv your new business name "Coffee Cat" and thank you for the extra Rpressos and coffee today.
Michelle, have a great adventure day with Nicholas.

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the pic - a good one, isn't it? THX too on the photos - all around a fantastic day, and I am so glad Nicholas's dad was able to come and share a pool day. They had such fun together. Yes on the falling asleep: he was so tired! Crashed as soon as he sat in his car seat. Erin says he slept for over three ours. ;-) OH yes..... on those battle wounds. shesssh!
Auntie Ann! Isn't it the best name? LUVS it! And you are welcomes. I can bring more if you need some... Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

It looks like Nicholas had a blast showing off for his dad. I bet Jason was beat last night though. What a cute cute cute picture of Williams. Sweet baby. Oh my on the battle scars. We used to have to put tube socks on before we tried to get either of our kitties in the carriers. They have both mellowed out since then, but it was always quite the fight. Have a great day Michelle!!

OMG, what a cute cute cute picture!!!!

I'm sorry, the visual of the vetty visit/carrier experience made me giggle. They are HOME and they do NOT want to leave under ANY circumstances! I'm sure they were thrilled to find out they weren't staying behind at the vetty. I hope Bug's ear clears up with the meds.

Have a great day, Michelle!!

Oh I see Nikki in William's face!!!

What a wonderful adventure Nikki had yesterday...loved to hear him playing 'tour guide'. He's such a neat kid!

Glad Lola and Bug are both doing so great - this was certainly a 'meant to be' situation! They all look SO happy together.

BIG HUGS!

1……2……3………………Awwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Great pix as always! I'll bet Jason was worn out!   He may be relieved to be left home and "just" help w/ the housework!

Have a wonderful day adventuring. I'm sure Nicholas will give a full account to those that had to stay at home all day.

Ouch on WWIII! I always make sure to clip claws before I try to get mine into the carriers! Funny how they fight not to go in, and hold on for dear life when you try to get them out! ohmygod_smile And Lavender Oil is great for healing scratches, just be carful w/ it around the cats.

Elsa! Glad you like the new logo and name! I thought it would be just right for you! Thanks on today's delivery too. Just what i needed to get me moving! -- Auntie Annbean

Hi Michelle,
Ok..first thing.. That picture of William is absolutely, without a doubt, the CUTEST baby picture i've seen in my life. Toss in the trash what "they" say about babies not smiling. That is a beautiful smile...ok.. maybe handsome is better 'cause he's a boy.... But from a mom's perspective...it's beautiful. He sure looks like Nicholas. He's quite a handsome little guy.

I bet Jason was beat when he got home. It looks like Nicholas was almost asleep while he was hunting berries. SUCH good fun!!

I've got such a picture in my mind of you and 8 little arms and legs going every direction. I hope your owie heals quick.
Funny how they fight not to go in, and hold on for dear life when you try to get them out!
   So true!

Hugs Elsa for the cofee this morning. I'm loving my second one!! Whooooo HOOOOOO

Elsa, and Lola and Bug.. let's load up pizzas and head out for KTSS.. We gots to pick up all the kittehs and go all over the place. There's so many kittehs havin vetty visits. If we don't get going soon, we'll be out all night! Oh wait.. if we're out late... we could ....party in the tree house?? - see you in a sec...oliver

Hi Michelle. Great pics of Nicholas and Dad as well as William. It looks like Nicholas is learning to float on his back from dad. You can tell from his facial expressions that he loves the water.

Glad that Lola and Bug had a good vetty report. Have a great day.

It looks like Nicholas and his dad were having so much fun at the pool. I'm glad Lola and Bug got a good vetty report. I hope the ear wax clears up for Bug. Ow on the battle scars. I know exactly what you mean. It is a fight for most of my cats to get them in the carrier. They run and hide if I get the carrier out. I hope your wounds heal quickly.

I agree with everyone else, cutest baby pic every. :-D :-D

Swim day yesterday sound especially tiring for Nick, showing off and playing with dad and Grammie. @-) No wonder he was racked out in the car afterwards. Salmonberries only give you so much energy. Suddenly I have a craving, I'll have to go hunt for some this weekend.

Scritches to the fur crew. They are indeed settled in. Sorry about the scratches. Have you given them mani pedi's yet?

Hope you had a great day by the river. It was a little windy but the sun was showing here today.

Hi Everyone! WooHOO! What a great day. :-D :-D Nicholas and I had a great time on the Snoqualmie River. We had decent weather - some sun, and warm temps. Rattlesnake Lake though was wet, but still good. River was high, but doable. The areas he likes where accessible, so good to go. ALot of salmonberry picking and even more river wading today. What fun he had. Soaked to the waist, LOL. As always we ate lunch on the river. It is nice in a way that he takes pleasure in doing that. We stayed maybe 4 hours, and then stopped in at Rattlesnake Lake on the way back, since it's on the next freeway exit. WOW: is that lake ever high... way up into the grassy area and the trails. It was raining some, but he didn't care - awesome. So off we went hoody's in place and played at the lake some too. Another soaked to the waist. Mom and dad's comment when he got home, saw the wet clothes in tow: "awesome, he played well and good then" yupp, that he did. As Nick would say: "Major good". LOL. I will post ther photo and video Links in tomorrow's Loose Lips.

Thanks Everyone - Wendy, Carla, John, Mary, Ann, Lyresa, Amy, Melissa, Ann, and Josie - for visiting while I was away playing Grammie... SWEET! I have just returned home, another longggggg and late, but great, day. Forgive me for not answering each post individually. I am beat! I so appreciate the visits though, have read each post, You guys are the best!
Thx all for the comments on William's photo -I so agree: what a great photo! Erin was looking at photos the other day of Nicholas when he was a newborn - it is uncanny how much William loks like him, with the same heart warming smile.
Oh yes on the swim days too: they are tiring - it's along time for a 2 year old to spend in the pool. Dad was zonked too! LOL: both napped when they got home. I-) I-) I-) I-) You are all so right: Nicholas LOVES the water - all smiles. And yes: today Jason was relieved to stay home and help ut around the house.
Scratches are slowly healing... Guess I should trim their claws... They do look much better today, :-D Mary - you are right: 8 little arms all going in the opposite direction. Ann: loved your description of the in and out. YUPP: They were relieved when they saw they were leaving the vetty: then they jumped ion the carriers. Silly cats! OOOOO! like the tubve socks idea too.!

Auntie Ann - YUPPS! I loves my new name - it is primo! THANKS YOU!!
Auntie Mary - WOOT I mades a good decision on bringing two. SWEET! ~~Elsa , Lil BIT, kitteh barista
