Good Morning World :-D

Well it's the day before the big SRT road trip of 2012 and Leo is ready, during our drive home last night he alternated between sitting on my lap looking out the window and snoozing on the passenger seat calm as can be :-D What a change from early this year when he would cry, shake and meow his little face off during car trips.

We had a good test, shoot and feed this morning and he didn't even finish his breffis he had to use the outdoor litterbox so bad :lol:

Leo had a good week with his DGP's and they said he was a really good boy, giving lots of purrs and cuddles to both of them. They loved him up before we left last night and wished him a good trip, my mom got all teary eyed of course. I brought everyone some fish last night from work and Leo had quite a bit of it to snack on, he loooooves raw fresh fish.

Just a few more odds and ends to be done before we leave tomorrow for Colorado. I need to go in for a tire rotation and pick up some meds for Leo this morning before it gets too hot here. Seems like we have the US heat wave up here now......whew it's hot out already at 7:00 in the morning.

Tracy, I didn't realize the big day of leaving tomorrow for the SRT is here! Sending tons of vines for you and Leo and a safe trip. How long of a drive is it? I remember your sister is traveling with you, right! Keep us posted as you can and catch up later with you in the day. Scritches to Leo. How many mousies did he catch while at DGPa's? Maggie wants to know! :-D

oh WOW!! SRT time already. This is so great - and I do wish Leo and you the best. And a safe road trip. It is so cool to read how well Leo has adjusted to being in the car. I remember you writing way back about how upset he would be. Good job Leo! Do keep us posted on how it goes. I expect Leo will handle all very well.

I didn't realize you were heading for Colorado tomorrow, either. Sending tons of vines. I hope you and Leo have along with Grayson and Lu have great success.

I didn't know Leo was a fan of sashimi. So, here's a snack for Leo for the trip.

Wishing you guys a safe, smooth, and uneventful trip tomorrow & Sunday! Leo's numbers are looking GREAT!!! Glad he's so relaxed in the car for you. I'm just hoping Grayson doesn't serenade everyone through the entire flight! :shock: :shock: :shock: :lol:

Oh Boy! i knew it was soon, but leaving tomorrow! Have a great trip, you have wonderful traveling companions! I'm so glad you figured out he just hated being in the carrier! You will have lots of new scenery to watch through the window Leo! Be good!

Leo! We will come w/ KTSS every night to make sure you are fine, just text us to let us know where you are! I have boxes of catmint crisps packed up for you and some extra for Lu! Headbuts and cuddles! -- Tess

Yep big trip is tomorrow, my sister and niece will be here later on tonight and we'll leave first thing tomorrow morning. Went in for a tire rotation and the people at Nissan tell me i need new tires :shock: tell me how a 2011 nissan xterra with 35,000 kilometres on it needs new tires?!?!?! Ughhh i don't have the time or money to get new tires, so hopefully my tires will last us the trip.

Other than that Leo is just chillin on the couch in front of the air conditioning, trying to stay cool. He's been eating 9% fuds all morning, i figured he deserves a nice treat before we leave and i'm surprised he's not higher than 214!

Leo would love to have some more sashimi, but his mom needs to go and catch some more first.

Have a great, safe, and hopefully cooler road trip to Colorado. We'll all be looking forward to hearing the details.

On the new Nissan, most times car manufacturers bid out the tire contract each week or so and whoever is cheaper that week gets to put their tires on the cars. I had to replace the tires on my car at around 40,000, but primarily because I needed to drive them in snow (an all wheel drive car) and the tires weren't up to it. You'll probably be fine until the cooler weather.

Leo, we'll keep good care of the rosemary and lavender in the garden while you are gone. You and Grayson are going to need some MAJOR rubdowns to get rid of vetty smell from CSU. You should ask if you can visit the psychology department - they might have mice there.

If you're going to get tires and since you are crossing the border, they are usually cheaper in the US. Even when made in Canada. Just saying.

Have a safe trip! I just know Leo will do amazingly with his travels, and with the SRT!! We're so looking forward to hearing updates!!!

It does look like Leo is chillin' tonight...look at those gorgeous numbers!!

Good - they'll speak the same language... didn't know if there was a French-Canadian Kitty dialect! :lol: Guess they're all just North Americans!

I was pretty excited Grayson was at 200 at +9.25... but he got so worked up wanting food, that he was at 397 by PMPS! But look at Leo!!! AWESOME numbers buddy!!! Maybe you can show Grayson how that works... he doesn't think his meter can register numbers with only 2 digits! Or the 3-digit kind that start with ones!

tracy, you have been SO MUCH on my mind. perhaps it's the SRT, I don't know, just wanted to tell you i'm thinking about you and wishing you guys the very best. i hope leo has quick action with the SRT! punkin started out quick, but it's kinda sputtered out. he has had several reductions this week again, though, so maybe we're back in business.

i also was thinking about your comment the other day - i'm certain you were one of the people who encouraged us to stay in LL and told us we still belonged. you and Leo do too. you're family & we love you!

have a wonderful trip! i can't wait to hear updates. say hi to Dr. Timian and the team from us!
 
Oh, Tracy, I'm so sorry I've been MIA. I love to visit Leo, and feel bad I haven't. I'm glad I saw this post, and able to wish you the best of luck for you and Leo. I hope your road trip is safe and everything works out. I know it will, you have all of LL sending vines and white light, and prayers, they really do work.

Hugs to both of you and to your sister, I think I read she will be with you.
Little Leo, don't be scared, you have the best mom in the whole world to take such good care of you.
