day 7 in kit's switch to lantus/relion from prozinc/alphatrak2

kit is enjoying the breezes, cooler weather, and the shows on birdTV.
right after her shot this morning, she figured it was a good time to vomit up breakfast.
it was about a half, portion by weight.

she's not really a scarf and barf kitty.
could this be related to any irritation from that giant hairball yesterday at +10 ?

by about +.75 she was ready to resume breakfast and got a "half main meal" portion.
the rest of the morning so far (+3) has been pretty normal with mini meals, bird chit-chat and taking in the wonders of the world.

looks like we navigated the breakfast-vomit-right-after-am-shot without drama.

also got a weigh-in done. she's still a little less than we'd like to see, but hopefully we can bring it back up bit-by-bit.

right now, she's in her harness on the porch and enjoying this perfect weather. one happy kitty.:cat:

All the flat yellow today could mean lower numbers tonight. I don't think the hairball yesterday could have contributed to the vomit, but you never know. Was she eating really fast?

she wasn't eating particularly fast. she even left the plate at one point and took a break to go watch the birds!

thanks for the heads up on possible blues tonight.
her most recent yellow @+8.75 227 says that she's still trending down overall for the day.
so far, she seems to like having her lowest number at PMPS .... so, that's stressful. hopefully she stays in the 200's so we don't have drama at shoot time.
we just gave her a tiny touch of food since she didn't finish her earlier day mini meal.
