Funny, but his BG was nearly flat for almost 24 hours. Of course, the vet visit probably spiked it up, but if it had stayed around 350, I wonder what that could mean given that he drops to below 100 sometimes.

We couldn't do the pancreatitis test today because Max has to fast for that. We did a urine and a blood to check on his CRF, and the vet doubts that thyroid issues are present because Max is holding his weight and muscle gain well.

We are going to check his teeth while he is under sedation, and then if there are extractions that need to be made, we will make a decision on putting him under once we know what kind of shape his teeth are in.

I don't know what is going on. This isn't a bounce. He was coming down from a bounce. Something else is going on. At least he's eating.

It's 4:15 am, and he wants to go outside. Fat Chance! I wish I could let him; he used to love wandering around at night in another place we lived, but we have coyotes here, and I've seen a rather large one. The insulin is having some effect on his BG, but he's above 350. I probably missed nadir; he woke me up to eat. He so clean and pretty. His fur is staying nice all the time now that I hydrate him more often. He got 50 cc this evening. He walks better everyday. Poor thing - he looks so bored. Well, back to bed.
