Good morning,
A flat night in yellow last night but there seems to be a drop happening this morning. I got some sleep but still feel exhausted.
I didn’t even hear my alarm, DH had to nudge me awake.

So we shall see if we are going on an active ride today. She’s due for action :nailbiting:

Have a safe day everyone :cat:

Good morning Staci,
I think the girls were trying out the pancake club.
In a way, this may be their way of adjusting and not reacting too much? Graduating from the drama school? (Mikan says fat chance!):p
Hope Ivy comes down slowly but steadily for you today.
It takes a lot longer than when we were young to recover from the lack of sleep. I remember the days when I could pull all-nighters...
In the middle of the night last night, my mother called me by mistake. She pushed the wrong speed-dial thing - she meant to call her friend. What are those old gals doing talking in the middle of the night? o_O But it startled me (a call in the middle of the night is never a good thing) so much that I had a hard time getting back to sleep. Yawn :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Wishing a mellow yet good BG day for both of us ;););):bighug::bighug::bighug:

Gooooood meowning!
I'm very curious to see what Ivy does today! Will she stay flat as a pancake? Or will she decide to do some exploring? Action Wednesday? Mid week adventure? Is that a thing?
I guess we shall wait and see!
Go Ivy go!!!

Hi Kit, sorry for the late reply it’s been a crazy day. I do think the girls are leaders of the pancake club these days not sure why. It’s kind of stressful isn’t it?

With that phone call from your mom last night it must’ve completely messed you up. That’s always the scariest thing when the phone rings in the middle of the night because, like you said, you always think the worst. Thank goodness it was not an issue.

And yes, I agree. It’s not as easy to recover from these all night events at this stage of life:banghead:

Honestly, I don’t remember it being this difficult when I had babies. You fed them, changed them, Everybody went back to bed.
It doesn’t seem to be quite as peaceful and finite as I recall those days.
This to me seems much harder, which I can’t even believe I’m saying that.
I sure hope our girls get back on the program;)
I’m starting to think that we’re gonna need an increase to kick Ivy into gear again, which of course is gonna release holy hell:eek:.
I’m not thrilled, but it’s looking like she’s gonna need something to shake her back into action.

I hope we both have a peaceful night ahead :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I hope she shows you some gentle action today. :bighug:

And absolutely what Kit (not the cat) said. It's so much harder now to recover from lack of sleep. I used to stay up until midnight or 1 am, and then wake up at 4 to go to work, then be at class by 8, then work at another job in the afternoon, and it was just easy peasy. Ah, youthful energy.
I can’t believe you could ever keep that kind of schedule, Alicia. You have some strong energy. I’ve never been one to be able to recover that easily. I’ve always needed a solid night sleep.

I do remember in college It was a struggle to stay awake into the wee hours studying for exams and getting projects done, but of course you did it because you had to.
I certainly thought I was past that kind of thing, but apparently not:blackeye:
It’s a good thing we love our cats, right?

Well, Karolina we have the answer to the question. She was a pancake again.
Sadly, I think she’s going to need more juice if she doesn’t get going here.
I just hate these high doses, but we may need to give her a boost and see what she does.
Hope you and the boys are having a great day, and have a peaceful evening ahead :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I see Ivy's definitely joined the pancake club. This diabetes stuff is just so crazy.
I hope you see some action and Ivy kicks in on her own. :bighug:

I think I managed it because I was a lot healthier (well, other than not sleeping enough hahahah). I was swimming 5-6 days a week, and usually at least a couple miles for as many of those days as I could. I should find time to get back in the pool. I think back on that schedule and just get tired thinking of it!

Apparently she has. It’s all so weird. It’s a moving target just so that you never actually know what’s going on:blackeye:

Very impressive. I’m tired just thinking about you swimming miles each day :p

I miss swimming so much sometimes. It's such a good work out - so much better for your joints, and so much easier to get more of an all body workout. But man is it time consuming. I was swimming for an hour most days, and there's getting to the pool and then changed to swim, then showering and getting ready after, and it just takes time I don't have. I should make it a point to go this summer. I have a YMCA membership I'm not using, you'd think that would be enough to get me there.

I feel this so much hahaha! I have an elementary schooler and Coop’s late nights are definitely feeling worse than her baby years!:coffee::coffee:
