No PMPS last night or AMPS today because my son was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia and I'm staying with him. My 14-year-old daughter is managing the insulin injections, but is less comfortable checking Dimi's blood glucose. My squeamish husband can't even watch, so he's no help at all. I'm home for a few hours to get some rest, so doing a few checks while here. Thankfully, Dimi is hanging in in the midst of the chaos.

Oh dear, how is your son doing? Teenager too? Poor guy.:bighug::bighug: Kudos to your daughter.

If your son will be hospitalized a couple more days, you might want to decrease after 6 days instead of 7 in green, just to ensure Dimi is safe.

Thanks so much, Wendy. It's pretty scary. When he was admitted he had a fever of 105. They said it's very strange for an 18 year old to have pneumonia without having covid or flu first, so they're trying to figure out what is going on.

I'm going to test now before heading back to hospital and tell my daughter to give him 0.5 units tonight. I think it will be hard for her to find 0.25. Current plan is to run home in am to test and give him his shot before heading back.
