I can't believe Champ is starting the day off on the blue floor!!! Can I hear a round of applause, please?!!! Good thing it's Sunday so I have a lot of time to test. I knew something was up, though, because he came into my room this morning an hour early looking for food. The only time he's that bright-eyed and bushy-tailed is when he's in some lower numbers. And can I just say THANK GOD for salmon dust!!!! I sprinkle that on his Wellness and he eats it right up. I've tried the chicken dust, too, which also works, but not as well as that salmon dust.

I took some great pictures of Champ yesterday snuggling with some flip-flops, and some from the day before with a different pair of flip-flops. I also got some pictures of him cozying up to my daughter's fringed suede boots!! I'll try to get them uploaded and posted so you can all see the extent of his addiction!!

My DD suggested we make homemade pizza tonight and watch a couple movies. I'm glad she finally wants to spend a night at home!! Anyone have a good recipe for pizza dough? I could always use Pillsbury, but it's not the same.

hahaha champ! he's a little confused! but i suppose if mannie can love on his nanners, champ can love his flip flops! all's fair in love and war, right?

great start to the day for champ!

why don't you post your pics in loose lips - more people would probably see them!

awesome start for champ!

i always just use trader joe's pizza dough. they have a vegan whole wheat one that is killer.

I love Trader Joe's!!! This time, though, we're going to do the homemade just because it was by DD's idea and it (hopefully) will be fun to do something in the kitchen together. The girl's 19...she needs to learn how to cook!!!

Here is that link about Wellness that I have been meaning to get you. It's not much, just some people noticing things similar to what you were describing.

Here is a rebate form for Fortiflora I thought it might be good for Champ in case he ever gets bored of the dusts. I don't personally use it but a lot of people swear by it. I'm not sure if this is still a good offer and whatnot. I know it does go on sale on Pet Food Direct, Petflow for around 13-15$ if you keep you eyes open and you can sometimes snag it on Amazon for a similar price.

About halfway down this page (maybe more) are some good tips about getting a picky guy to eat. I didn't know if this could be useful to you or not. It explains the Fortiflora and stuff too.

Nice numbers for the foot fetish man! Gus chews on my flip flops, but doesn't have a relationship with them :lol: I use store made pizza dough. It tastes better than Pillsbury, but not as much mess as homemade. Nothing beats 'from scratch'. However, I have never met a slice of pizza that I didn't like. Gus and I will be over about 6:00 and we'll bring the Buds!

Patty, Thanks for the pep talk in Zoe's condo.....I needed it. I just get frustrated looking at her numbers - have a nice cycle or 2 and right back up to yellows....just can't quite seem to hold it in the blues. :roll: :cry: But she couldn't care less....she is so happy and looks good....its just me that gets frustrated. :roll: ;-) ;-)

I had to get some stuff done around here so I wasn't able to get anything from +4-+6.5, but I'll just bet he's been hangin' ten the whole time. I'm very happy with how he's been eating today, and proud of myself that I haven't been overfeeding him like I have a tendency to do!! :roll: He's spent most of the day sleeping in his cubes (thanks, Sienne, for turning me on to these!!), only coming out for his snack and poke with a quick cuddle thrown in for good measure. He's been the most excellent of cats today!! :-D

Ann - if it was up to me, I'd be on the phone to Pizza Hut!! :lol:

Marje - How awesome is it about the WN? I think I'm noticing a difference already in his muscle tone, but I can't make a determination based on one or two days...I'm going to give it a full two weeks (probably longer) and really study him to see how he's walking, etc. And his numbers are doing fine on it so far, though I would like to see some lower greens. :-D

Bev - I sooo wish you COULD come over for pizza and beer!!! :-D

Sherry - no problem at all. I still need pep talks on a frequent basis because I get frustrated very easily. I think I get more frustrated with continued flat yellows than occasional trips to the land of pink!! :? And we DID see green!!!
 
Awesome AM cycle for Champ today - SWEET! and well... bouncy pink for the pmps but I bet he brings that down too. I swear that 300 had a very strong yellow cast to it. :cool: :cool:

I think Champ needs to come and show Mannie the art of "cubes" he ignores his totally... :roll:

Nice too on the WN - and the power of salmon dust., Go Champ!

i hope the pizza dough adventure went well! yeast and i just never learned to play together well in the kitchen.

i don't know what i would do without trader joes. i swear the one i go to is the survival outpost of all the 20 somethings in chicago, we all congregate there on monday night....
