Yeah another great AMPS!

Btw i've got a question.
Is it a problem when Baco is OTJ to be not so strikt when it comes to giving food? Because I'm a person who likes to sleep in, and I really need that when she gives me the time and space haha.:p
But because she is still on a strikt no carb diet (for life) do I still give at set times food or can I be less precise about it?

Woot!!!:cat::D
Interesting question, I don't know the answer, but with no insulin, I would think you could relax your schedule.

thanks Sharon and Rachel.
Who can tell me for a 100% if it's not a problem? I don't think it is a problem but i'm a little scared because she 'was' on strikt food times and maybe if I don't follow it she can 'develope' diabetes again? Or is that me overreacting?:oops:

Ruby, the food and timing is more about how Baco used the insulin in relation to the food in her system so the scheduled feedings are more about co-ordinating with shot times and nadir and preventing numbers from going too low. So if you need a little more shut eye some mornings and Baco will let you sleep, go ahead. Without insulin, her pancreas and liver will adjust her BG accordingly and she will be fine. She's not going to go hypo with no exogenous insulin on board and her BG isn't going to rise to any diabetic levels because of a meal delay.

That is really good to know as I wondered also.

Thanks so much @MrWorfMen's Mom :bighug: so I can delay and swith up the meals if I come home later or have plans, that's good to know! Thanks:smuggrin:

1 more day !!! And then Baco is having a partyyyyyyyyyy
Ruby, I am so thrilled for you and Baco. It couldn't have happened at a better time for you. Now , while you have a few weeks off between you two jobs, you can do something fun for you! ;):bighug::):cat:

Thanks so much Bobbie:bighug:
Tomorrow I can scream at the top of my lungs about it:smuggrin:
Well i'm already doing so much fun stuff because I can leave Baco do her own thing, only at amps and pmps I needed to check her. I already was a lot less being busy with her and she loved it, no more testing her like I used to, no more syringes, nothing! Haha!
Now my goal is to let her lose the excess weight. ;)
