6/11 Miss Kitty AMBG 83 no shot

She surprised me this morning with the 83 reading. I intended to stall, but I forgot and put her FF down and so she ate it and then she wouldn't eat anything else so I could test her again. So, I just skipped the shot.

Sort of did a curve Saturday and she stayed in the 300s all day.

Interview with pet sitter I'm not so sure. She really did not have experience checking the BG, so I'll probalby have to pass. I have thought about trying to get a vet tech, but how? I asked at my vet's office, but no offers. Has anyone had any luck in finding a vet tech to come pet sit for their diabetic cat?

I would call around to a couple of different vet's offices. My vet has a big practice and there are a lot of tech so I've been lucky. Is there a vet school near you? If so, I would call there and see if you can find someone who could help you figure out how to make an inquiry. (If they have a vet hospital or outpatient care center, there will be vet techs or vet students who may be interested in helping out.) I'd ask friends who have pets who they use, as well.

Hi guys .. beautiful start to the day! I hope even without the shot miss kitty surfs for you .. No advice on the pet sitter from me but Sienne has some nice suggestions .. have a great day!
