Simon is doing great this morning and is coming down nicely from his morning blue. I shot this video this morning of Simon and his girlfriend Rosie. Rosie visits every morning and I usually feed her. Simon doesn't like when I feed her and he doesn't get a treat so I usually put a small amount of food down for him in his bowl. Today, I left a tiny amount in the can that I fed Rosie out of and Simon loved trying to get the little bits of food out of the can. Rosie seems unfazed by everything. The video may be a little boring but it gets better at the very end.

Have a great day everyone! I am off to beat the heat and am going to a movie with my friend and her daughter.

Hi Georgia, I love the video! Simon is cracking me up the way he is getting every last fuds out of the can! Rosie looks up twice to see what Simon is doing. Great video of simon and his girlfriend. Nice numbers today, too. Enjoy your movie; sounds like a nice day.

That was cute! He wasn't going to let that last bit stay in the can, he's one very determined kitty. hahaha!

aw, he loves his food! that's sweet that you feed his special girl! i always wondered if they would cut their tongues on the cans, but i know someone who always feeds her cats out of the can.

I was waiting for Simon to get his head stuck! My civvie, George would insist on licking yogurt or ice cream containers clean. If I didn't hold on, he'd get his head stuck. It was pretty funny!!

Simon was determined that absolutely nothing was going to be left behind!!! And Rosie looks like a bit of a porker!! (don't tell her I said that!). I wonder if her owners know she's getting extra meals?!!! I can just see them over there scratching their heads, saying "How comes she keeps gaining weight? We're not feeding her that much!" :lol: :lol:

Simon is still green!! Just got back from the movies. Went to see the new Woody Allen movie, Midnight in Paris. I really enjoyed it. If you like references to authors and painters from the 1920's, this is the movie for you...Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Picasso, etc. Romantic comedy.

Julie, yes I have worried about Simon cutting his tongue, but it hasn't happened yet. You should see him with the tiny Fancy Feast can. That is even more hilarious!

Sienne, too funny about George practically getting his head stuck in containers. Our kitties can be so amusing...who needs tv?

Patty, yes Rosie is a little chubby but not as chubby as the video makes her look. After all video and tv put on at least 10 pounds! She has gotten a little chunkier since we have been feeding her, but I know that all she gets at home is dry food. I wish I could convert the neighbors to thinking about an all canned diet, but I don't really know them that well. They probably would think I am crazy. Rosie gets a nice little treat with the canned food at my house.

Claudia, I also thought it was cute that Simon and Rosie were both in sync with their eating.

That was a great video! Rosie checks on Simon every now and then and all he cares about is his food! Haha!

What a great video - one determined kitty - gotta get that last drop... I enjoyed it. Rosie sure is a cutie!

Very nice cycle today too for Simon - green! YAY!!

I hope you enjoyed the movie.
