I am very late today. Tarragon is doing well. Started out yellow, dipped into the blues, and back yellow. He is feeling good and being his normal happy furry purry guy.

Crazy day with gardening, more clean up from the storm, mowing and pool cleaning. DH has a big $ proposal due tomorrow so I was in charge of the backyard solo. I did get done in time to lay in the pool for a couple hours and work on my tan. I canned 12 quarts of salsa from our garden and froze 24 bags if green beans. Woohoo!!

I will try to get to condos but my RA is screaming at me after the race and self defense class yesterday and all the movement today. Know I am thinking about all of you and sending big hugs.

Wow, you have busy and deserve some relaxing time in the pool with a Margarita! :-D Nice report on Mr. T and looks like he's coming down nicely for a +2! I hope no dramarama tonight though. Congrats on the 5K and self defense class.

Oooh, home-made salsa and green beans. Wow, you got a lot of work done this weekend, and you got to do a race and a workout, too. I think you get the Wonderwoman award, Melissa!

Tarragon, ya did good, cooperating so that your mamabean could achieve! :lol:

Get some rest this evening. The pool sounds like a great idea!

That is some busy weekend for you. WOW - lots done, I hope you enjoyed it all - sounds like a great weekend to me. :-D well maybe not on all that yard work, but the rest sounds darn awesome! II so need a pool..... :lol:

No worries on the condos - take care of you, we will always be here tomorrow.

Good for you for taking self-defense - is your teacher a martial artist or a self defense instructor, or both?
 
He made blue. Yay!

Anne - The instructor is actually the lead detective for robberies for the Tulsa Police Department. He is also a martial arts Guru. I have been going for a month now. We do one hour of self defense, one hour krav, one hour of grappling. It is an all women's class. It is really great because he knows what the "trends" are for the bad guys and tells us what they are trying now. Tulsa, like all larger cities, has quite a bit of crime with the economic issues. I work downtown and walk 2 blocks from my parking garage to my office in the dark and have been approached a few times. Plus it's a heck of a workout. :)
 
Yay for blue Tarragon.

I have been doing a lot of storm clean up too - in between storms. Weather has gone a bit bananas here with a mini tornedo and cyclone strength winds in the last week. Expecting more of the same this week but I'm hoping that all the branches that can have come down already nailbite_smile
