Yesterday was a poopy bounce day. Hoping today is better for Shasta.
WCR: All Ps in place. I don't understand what is going on with her numbers this morning. I totally expected yesterday's pinks & yellows, but by today...she should be down. :? I woke up this morning to find more puke. Not so much hairball like 2 mornings ago, but fuds...Purebites. I don't know what's going on with her. I haven't given her any Pepcid AC yet. I have a lunch date with a friend today, so I'm weary of giving her medicine when I'm not going to be here to monitor her. nailbite_smile Otherwise, I got snuggles & she was very chatting this morning and as I was snoozing through btb time. And she's very sassy this morning and very wobbly still while walking. Sorry this is a mumble jumble of info, but I've got to run an errand before lunch and I'm still not dressed.
OT: Last spring, I mentioned that I had a friend in town who's cat was diagnosed w/ diabetes. I went over and showed her and her husband how to home test, what to feed, got them on the board, etc. She's a hard working music teacher here in the county; teaching band, chorus & piano at a JR/SR high. Since her schedule is always so crazy, her husband was the predominant BIC. In the fall, her husband was diagnosed with multiple myeloma (cancer of the blood). Needless to say, his health has been the focus over the past few months. Their son has been there to help with the cat(s), but unfortunately, their sweet sugar kitty passed away this weekend. I feel just horrible for the whole family. I wish I could have done more. Buster is now frolicking with the rest of the sugar kitties beyond the Rainbow Bridge. Fly free, sweet Buster and keep watch over your family. They are going through hard times right now and need a little feline angel. Any and all prayers for the Gardner family would be greatly appreciated.
