Hi Everyone,

I'm in Lake Placid waiting for my car to finish being serviced. This is one of the BIG ones (30,000 miles), so I'll be here for most of the day.
Rusty had a good night and has a reasonable AMPS. We'll see where he is late this afternoon when I get home. Edward has all the instructions. It has stopped raining and is a nice, sunny day. I've already walked about 5 miles and will do about 3 or 4 more before I get back to the shop. I had a nice walk into the village, then around Mirror Lake, crossing over to look at Lake Placid, and now I'm in the lovely Public Library, looking out over Mirror Lake, sitting at a small table in one of the labyrinth of nooks in this unique, multi-level historic building. The only unpleasant thing about the day will be the bill for my car!!

Wishing all a good day,

Ella

Sounds like you're having a wonderful day despite having your car at the shop (I hate when they're due for their puppy shots....sitting in a car dealership is not my idea of a fun way to waste a day)

Don't worry Rusty....Your trusty deputy is on duty and watching the kitties that are out swimming!

Nice blue for Rusty this morning. I hope he slides down today. It sounds like you're having a nice day despite having to wait for your car.

How lucky you are to be somewhere that has those kinds of options for things to occupy you while you wait for your car. My dealer is on a street that is mostly comprised of other car dealers, and there is no where interesting to walk, unless you want to look at cars! I always take reading material, my tablet, and a small cooler with drinks (I don't like the ones in their machine, and who wants to pay that much, anyway?).

Enjoy your day, and I hope Rusty surfs safely while you're away.

It sounds like a nice day for you to go for a walk while waiting for your car to be serviced anyway! Our dealership is on a long line of other dealerships as well, nothing interesting close by and on such a busy street anyway. :rolleyes:

Hope Edward got his new keyboard and good start for Rusty, not that he is not being ignored and mis-treated like yesterday LOL! :smuggrin:

Morning Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

YaHOO! Rusty made the lagoon yesterday. HOORAY!

I would have done the same... walked those 9 miles too while waiting for the car to be done. Sure beats sitting and waiting. it sounds like you have an awesome walk, but I do hear you on it all being pavement. I liked the library stop, a nook with a view of the lake. Nice!

Have a great day today!
