Have fun at Camp Stu!! Rusty is looking good today.

Rusty - My mom is so tired from staying up with me last night she said I can go for sure as long as I take a nap first. Tell Mannie to honk the horn when he gets here and I will grab my bag and be there in a jiffy. Can't wait!!!

Hi Rusty - I was up all night too. If I behave today mom said I can play for a bit tonight. A party sounds like fun!

Hi again,
The kitty party is in full swing down on the dock. I hear lots of meows as they paddle and swim in the lake. Some are fishing. Mannie and Rusty and Willie have the grill out and are grilling bison burgers and hot dogs. Singing and dancing to follow the cook-out.

More later on the party (if I can sneak a look)

Our trip here could have been better. Rusty got carsick again. He slept most of the afternoon after exploring the cabin. He got his claws caught in the screens! I had to help him extract them. He'll know now that there are no window ledges on the porch. (next week we're going to try to clip his nails!) I hope that he'll like it here once he gets acclimated.

We' re having our house painted tomorrow so it should be interesting!
Enjoy the great outdoors--Moonie goes up on the condo that Copper used to stay on & loves to stick her nails into the screen!!! What's with that?? She hasnt gotten stuck yet!!
There are pet free screens..I dont have them yet, but may need them :lol: :lol:

I'm sorry to hear Rusty got sick on the trip and then got his claws caught in the screen. He'll probably be glad when today is over and he can just sleep!! I hope he loves it there!

Gracie and Tobey texted me that they are having the time of their lives!! They are so excited about being there and Tobey said he did several belly flops off the dock into the water.....he's a great swimmer and diver for a kitty. He loves being with his Aunt Ellabean. Glad there were extra ropes to pull Gracie out of the lake after her dive this morning....I know I can trust you to keep an eye on her, Ella!

Hi again,

Lots of singing and dancing going on right now. Meowing at the clouds (can't see the stars or the moon). Rusty is so happy that all his pals could come to Camp Stu to start the summer season. Niptinis are very popular tonight, as is midnight swimming (for those who can brave the cold water). Temp. tonight is supposed to go into the 30s, so the kitties can build a bonfire and keep warm before heading to their homes in the bus with Mannie driving. Safe trip, kitties.
