It's nasty again today. Drizzly, but warm. Bone aching weather, for those affected by dampness.
Checks is being kind of slow today, but he's able to walk up the kitty steps just fine, if he thinks there might be a leftover piece of kibble up on the desk. :roll:
He ate, got tub drinks, got medicated, sat in tub a while waiting for the servant to come turn the faucet on.

He was hanging out of the cube earlier, head hanging, just staring....for looooooong minutes.
Being me....I started thinking "neurological problem" :roll:
Then thought he must be looking at a bug, so went to investigate. He had just come out of the tub, and was watching the water, drip off his head.
Gotta make a WalMart run.

Deleted pic to save board space. I gotta find out how to post just the link. I used to, but can't remember which link to use with Photobucket. I should ask Rhiannon....she did it today, with Shadow.

Sounds like a better start for Checks today, especially since the weather is not good for him (or you). My guys get in "the zone" once in a while, too. I know it's a bit eerie...I swear, I think they just like to mess with us sometimes! Yep, kibbles can be so motivating...I know that all too well!

I can't remember if I've told you about my Noah who also purposely sticks his head under the faucet. Then, he goes running over to his food dish, drips the "fuzzy head water" into his bowl, takes a few bites, then runs back to the faucet and repeats. He is by far my quirkiest cat!

I was positive he would stay blue today, so made a run to WalMart. I gots a new 'thing' for kitties.
That 'S' shaped scratching thingy....no one likes it. :lol:
I came home to green numbers. Totally surprised.

On Wed, I start a new PT. It's a spine specialist. I have to leave home at Checkers +5.5. He starts to rise around +7.
I should have enough time in the morning to stuff him with carbs, if he's running low numbers. nailbite_smile

Was the scratcher the one with carpeting on one curve and sissel on the other? Rusty has one of those and uses it a lot.

Good luck with your new PT tomorrow, Barb. Maybe the weather will clear up too, and that will help. We only had the increasing humidity all day, but the rain has begun this evening. At least I got the grass mowed! Rusty is OK after his "ordeal" at the vet.

Oh, I concur Barb! We're having the same weather here: today it was sticky humid, about 75 degrees, showers, sprinkles, cloudy...lots of painful barometric pressure=ouch! I was just getting ready to stop by your condo and seen your response to my post re: getting more condo visits. I think we should have a like button, too! Hope all is well in Checkers Land. Gosh, it is still strange to not post a daily condo. I did one time since Gobs went OTJ, but will rarely to save space on the FDMB server. Give Checkers lots of scritchies from us cat_pet_icon

Hi Ella. Checkers had a nice day today. Maybe you should make a Walmart run for cat toys more often :lol: . Nice to see Checkers at the Lagoon.

1) Open the photo
2) Click on the link icon in the upper right corner (it's next to the download arrow)
3) Copy the DIRECT LINK address.
4) Click the URL icon at the top of the post page and paste the direct link for the photo between the URL brackets the same way you do for the previous day's condo.

I'm always entertained by Shadow who sits beside me if I get in the bath tub and she'll flip her tail in.... and then get all indignant like I did it to her. :lol: :lol:
