6/9/12-Racci-AMPS-192,+3-94,+6-66,PMPS-70,+3-90,

Happy Sunday LL,

Racci was green just about all day and night yesterday so had a good day! Today was noisy and a little stressful & her +3 went up after an asthma attack and the stress so I don't know if she just hadn't finished coming up before going down yet or if she was stressed into going up but I guess I'll find out at her next reading. Poor Racci is so sensitive. She's been calm and resting since about +2 so I'm hoping she'll be down by then.

I'm back and realized this never got posted! Well, Racci went up to 236 so obviously either the rescue meds for the asthma, Albuterol, bring her up, she's just not feeling well even though she appears to, or sshe's bouncing from yesterday even tho I thought she was done with that. She might have started bouncing from too many greens again tho after having high numbers for so long. Oh well, I can analyze it forever and not know, she's a cat. :?

Nice green day yesterday! Tarragon is the same way with commotion. When his asthma flares his BGs go up as well. It might have something to do with the inflammation. I haven't noticed the albuterol causing it but ECID. Have a great night Melanie!

Hi Melissa,

I haven't had to use the Albuterol in so long that I don't really remember what it did to her diabetes or if she's even had to use it since becoming diabetic. I have a brand new one on hand since I use it so rarely. It's good to know that you don't see a reaction but do see the bg's go up. The inflammation would explain it Since Racci's sleeping and certainly not tense now.

Thanks! You have a great night too, Melissa!

I'm having a bit of trouble maintaining internet connection (big storms) so didn't check her ss to see if you already have but, if you haven't, note the use of Albuterol on there so you can see if any patterns emerge in respect to it use and her BG.

Get back to the lagoon Racci given that everything is opposite here it must be great swimming weather there!

Re: 6/10/10-Racci-AMPS-127,+3-158,+6.75-236,PMPS-280!

Wow! 280!

Good thinking Serynn. It's beginning to look like the attacks themselves or the Albuterol are having severe consequences for Racci's bg's. She went all the way up to 280 for a PMPS. She hasn't done that in a very long time. I tested twice to make sure and came up within a few numbers.

Yet this morning her AMPS was back down to 75 so it doesn't last long. I'm about to post her condo for today and it's the opposite of today and more like the other day when she ran green all day. She's cheerful again as well. I have to get this asthma back under control. If I remember properly she had a problem at this time of year last year also but not to this extent. I think it must be something that's blooming. My DH had the windows open 2 nights ago and that's just about when this started. Then again we had a cool night a few days before that when she had an attack. I can't get it through his head to stop shutting the ac even if it's cool!
