Yesterday was ride the pink and yellow roller coaster day in MannieLand. I had so hoped that it would de-rail, figuratively speaking... :lol: :lol: :lol: We've had eight cycles now with some good, ut most not so great numbers. Some attributable to bounces, some to Mannie giving out alot of permission slips. Mannie, dude, I love the permission slips,and am grateful for them, but remember: we need blues and greens too! So - how about it? A nice steady blue surf today? What'd'ya think? Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D The nanners are secure - both Nicholas and Mannie made sure. :cool: :razz: Everywhere Mannie went Nicholas was sure that the nanners did too. :lol: :lol: :lol: Until that is we took off for our adventure. We left Mannie sleeping on them, came home to find him-still there. :shock: I made a comment to Nicholas about how good Mannie was at caring for his Nanners, that he probably deserved a special treat for being such a good care-giver. There was this immediate smile on DGS's face - one could see the wheels turning. so off he went, running into the kitchen, only to return with.... wait for it.... wait for it... a blueberry! :lol: :lol: :lol: No doubt that in Nicholas's mind that was the bestest treat anyone could have. He tried to give it to Mannie several times - who just looked at him with "that look" . There was this huge sigh from DGS when the blueberry remained uneaten - so, of course he ate it himself. GO KID! Priceless... :razz: :razz: :razz: Today, as always, we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone! I am still on DGS duty today. YAY! more Nicholas. :-D :-D :cool: We will swim today, and hope for good weather so we can go to a park, a beach, whatever looks good. I know I won't be able to visit condos while he is here, but do know that I am thinking of you all, and your furkids. Think blue, think green kitties!

WOO HOO everybody! DID YOU HEAR?!?!?!?!?!? Rusty caught a squirrel! For real! He is now known as the Mighty Hunter... right up there with Leo! I am so proud of him!!! So - to celebrate we are back at Camp Stu today! We will have a celebratory hunt, and then a paddle I hope. See you guys soon~~ Mannie

Hi guys .. great pictures from yesterday! And what a nice start today .. mannie must of really been listening about those blues! How funny nicholas brought back mannie a blueberry, that is to cute .. I hope you guys have a great weekend!

Morning Michelle ~O) ~O) I need lots of it, too! Wow on the nice blue AMPS! I wonder if the Manster will be keeping you busy this morning. Mannie and Mags are about the same AMPS today! Too cute with the blueberry, but a no go with Mannie. I think Mannie would love some Goldfish crackers. Mags likes them, too, as I discovered and also potato chips! Have a great swim and adventure today with Nicholas. Neat pics of Lake Padden and DGS. He's already loving hiking and the outdoors. Tks on the link, too. :-D

Mannie, yikes with Rusty catching the squirrel. He's right up there with our other Mighty Mouse Hunter, Leo! Next will be mousies for Rusty. Yeah, we will celebrate the Mighty Hunter today. Yay, Camp Stu it is again. See ya at the curb, Mags

Morning Devon, and many thanks! I loved the blueberry thing yesterday - it was so cute. Too bad that Mannie just isn't into blueberries. now if that had been apiece of chicken.... :lol: :lol: Thank on today - it is a great start!

Morning Ann - oh yes on the ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) things are running a little slow here this AM. :shock: :lol: Me too on the Manster this morning - it is hard to say with him. he will either surf this range or we will head down. the +2, +3 will tell all. I hope for just a nice even stay where he is surf. So much easier to manage him and Nicholas when he does. ;-) oh yes on teh goldfish. that he would eat for sure - just not into blueberries. :lol: :lol: thanks ont he pics - it was fun, even with the rain.

Maggie! I know - do you believe it? our Rusty! The mighty hunter! He and Leo will have such stories to tell. Ok then - we is off to Camp Stu. Picks you up at the curb! ~~ Mannie

WOOT!!! I should have known Mannie would be down this morning, Tess is off practicing the High JumP! :roll: Lake Padden looke lovely even in the rain and fog.

Slow start here today too, so delaying the ~O) ~O) ~O) and going btb, as I don't have to babysit!

Mannie, oh yes! We need to give Rusty his due! And look what I found on the interweb! It's the perfect gift for him! -- Tess

185 @ +7. WOOT !! We are still blue! How nice to come home after swimming with Nicholas and find that he is still blue. I sure hope he can surf here the rest of the day. paws crossed. Nicholas and I are off to the beach for some surf play, but I did want to stop at home and make sure that the Manster maintained, and didn't head on down after his +4 this morning. YAY!

Hi Ann - Ya know I was thinking the same thing - saw Tess's numbers this morning, just haven't been able to comment - seems they have resurrected the teeter totter once again. :roll: :roll: I told Mannie to quit teaching her all his high dive moves.... aiyee! --- and yes on lake Padden - even with all the wet it was really nice. Loved it! LUCKY YOU on the btb - enjoy!!

Hi Pip - Thanks - I think so too. Mannie will do for Rupert - he's on his way to pick him up - something about teaching him the ropes while at Camp Stu. :shock:

Hi Melissa - Thanks - I said the same ting, but I think he wanted the blue. Funny how he always knows when I get a little "antsy" when DGS and I are off and running. He always seems to deliver the travel numbers. ;-) And thanks - the day is great so far.

287 @ PMPS. YAY! Down from that nasty pink at +11. I wish I knew where that came from. Mannie being Mannie more than likely.

Thanks to all that visited Mannie while DGS and I were out. Swimming was fun - it always is. He's becoming good at those water sides. :shock: :lol: :lol: We went to a local beach after that so he could play in the surf, and throw more rocks. As always - the water was a big hit. I will post some photos on Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Z - tank u bery much! uhhhh...... does it still count now that I went postal pink? I is back to yellow! that's important, right? ~~ Mannie

Yo Mannie, thanks for bringing the gang back today. We had to cut it short because my mamabean didn't want me hunting on my injured foot. The book that Tess got for me is great. We can try some of those recipes during the Full Moon party on Monday. (We can have it at Camp Stu; my beans won't be there, but I will!)

Nicholas is so lucky to have you...so many grandparents park the kids in front of video games, but you show him the world and he obviously loves it. So awesome!!

What a wonderful day you had with Nicholas. I agree with Amy...you are one terrific grandparent! Mannie looked so good with the blue surf today and of course, being Mannie, had to go up to yellow tonight! Yes, we love those bouncy kitties!

I was thinking the very thing that Amy said. You're making so many wonderful memories and starting Nicholas off on some really fantastic activities that will become lifelong habits. You might have created a future forest ranger or something!!!!

Hi Amy - it was a good day for him. And thank you for your comments. I love the outdoors, and it has been such a great thing to be able to share this with him. To have him love it as much as I do is just too cool. I hope it all sticks with him as he gets older. Paws crossed!

Hi Marje - that it did - this morning was a good one for him, nice to see the steady cycle show. Sure hope he gets back there after this hiatus to the pink and yellow zone.

Hi Patty - thanks, this AM was good. It started out well and Bam off to the stratosphere - so so Mannie... Thank you too on your comment n DGS. It is really appreciated - all of you! I hope so, on all you said. I have fun, and he really seems to respond to all this stuff. It's just so great to see. now that would be cool: a forest ranger. Could be - he does love it there :-D :cool: :cool:
