What a red letter day this morning is! This amps marks 100 cycles on the same dose. Amazing.... :o      And to think he still is posting great cycles. We have a few blips with some yellows and occasional pinks, but holy schmolly! WOOT! Looking good Mannie! cat_pet_icon I was pleased over all with the AM cycle yesterday. I had things I "needed"/wanted to do, was gone for a while twice, and even with the food manipulation, the higher carbs to keep him safe while I was gone, he still cranked out a very nice cycle. YAY!!!! What a great day. Mannie - you are the best!, and your bean thanks you! :-D  now if he could just let Mr. Liver know that we all know he has one, and there is no need to show off first thing in the morning. 325.... blech!

All is well in MannieLand. Yesterday turned out to be such a nice sunny day, even with a few short rainy periods. Even thought the grass was a bit wet he still went on out, rolled in it, laid in it, and brought all that he could back inside on his fur.    One has to love long haired cats - they bring everything back inside with them. It is n ice to have days that are warming up, days where I can let him out when he wants to be out there. If he wasn't grass rolling yesterday he was deck sunning.  It was cute though - he'd come in every half hour or so and check on the nanners. Yup: all secure and undisturbed.  We have normalcy in MannieLand this AM: a whiskers in the face wake-up call  , breffis consumed with much purring and alot of nom nom nom ;-), a few civvie whacks   and off to some serious nanner napping.    :-D Life is good!

Have a great day everyone! I am back to DGS sitting for the rest of the week.   I hope the days are decent, so we can go out for walks, as he really enjoys them. As always, it is doubtful I can get to condos during the day, but know that I am thinking of you, and your furkids. Think green kitties!

My Friends!!! The KTSS is busy today! Dentals for Tobey and Tommy. I hope I haven't missed anyone... Anybody wanna take the dune buggys out today? oooooo - I bet Rusty's beans need the bucket brigade today too.... Hey - guess what!! big party tomorrow at Camp Stu!! Rusty says his beans are gone ALL DAY and we can have the place to ourselves: Swimming, fishing, grillin' - everything! I can hardly wait! ~~ Mannie

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 325

Glad to hear that Mannie is holding steady for you! 100 cycles. Wow! Mannie is hilarious with his routine. Isn't it funny how they all have their own schedule? Have a great time with DGS!

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 325

Hi guys ... wow, 100 cycles! That is something mannie, you are truly something! I'm glad mannie got to enjoy the sun and grass, even if it was wet .. have fun with your DGS .. have a great day!

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 325, +2 286, +3.5 243

Morning!!

ok, recap:
328 @ pmps
286 @ +2
243 @ +3.5 -- and coming down.... YAY! bye bye pinks!

and per the norm - while the baby sleeps: speed typing, and condo update!

Hi Melissa - so true on the schedule - he's is so set. At times one could set a clock by it. And thanks - always a joy when DGS is here. :-D

Hi Devon - mind boggling in a way to me on the 100 cycles. so far it looks like it will be another day of the Nanner King out in the wet grass... good thing he doesn't seem to care.

Hi Iorwen - thanks! I kinda had a wow moment when I typed that "100" this morning.

Hi Ann, and Miss Maggie - Oh yes on his getting outside. I am glad that I a able to do that for him, that he knows the limits and doesn't wander. YAY!! and the rains are letting up, so it looks like DGS and I will be able to walk. Paws crossed. And many thanks on the numbers. :-D

Maggie - I am on my way!!! KTSS to the rescue. We need to see Tessie Lou too - she went to the vetty, and her bean is rally worried. So we ca go and give her a spa treatment so that they both feel better. See you soon! Roadster is revved up and ready to go. ~~ Mannie

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 325, +2 286, +3.5 243, +5 247

Good recovery from the ugly pink number. wow, 100 cycles on this dose....I guess congrats are in order! Enjoy your outside time, between the rain drops. Funny that Mannie doesn't mind wet - Zoe greatly dislikes wet - she will "high step" on the patio if she senses any "wet" or dampness on her delicate little paws.

Mannie - I'm ready for KTSS - lets roll! ~Zoe

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 325, +2 286, +3.5 243, +5 247

I'm finally able to visit a couple of condos and, as usual, have to hit up Mannie's to get the daily report!! Ahhh, all's right with the world because Mannie says so!! I was able to get a two-hour nap so I'm feeling much refreshed. So now I need to go get some work done because the exhaustion hits again!!

Have a great day, Mannie, Michelle, and DGS!!

Re: 6/1 Mannie AMPS 325, +2 286, +3.5 243, +5 247

Hugs & enjoy your DGS this week..Lubs ya!!

Re: 6/1 Mannie +11 277, PMPS 264

277 @ +11, 264 @ PMPS. more yellow...... uh Mannie? what happened to all those blues and greens?

Hi Roni - thanks! Could be tonight... he's been kinda flat today. hmmmmm......

Hi Patty - you crack me up! But I do like Mannie's approach - nothing ever upsets him - well we wont talk about DGS -  for the most part nothing upsets him, everything is cool and groovy, and all is right with the world, per the Manster. YAY on your nap - you probably needed it after last night, and then this morning. Champ has been a busy boy! I know on the exhaustion thing - you run around trying to get hings done before you are too tired. there is logic there somehow...

Hi Sherry - oh me too, on the exit from the pink floor. :-D He seems to have chosen to spend some time on the yellow one. Maybe his internal parts wanted a day off. Too funny with Zoe and the wet - One of my civvies is like that too - won't go out if there is even a hint of wet Mannie on the other hand?: bring it on!

Zoe! You are on - let's do it! ~~ Mannie

Re: 6/1 Mannie +11 277, PMPS 264

Mannie....did you decide to give the bean a break today? I would love to see what all he brings in on his fur   100 doses!!!! Wow....I believe you win the Miss Patience of the Year Award and look how it has paid off!! This is the best that Mannie's SS has ever looked and it just keeps getting better.....hello lovely cycles.

I hope you and Nicholas had a lovely day with the nanner king!!! Tobey said thanks for the KTSS!! It took a while for his sedative to wear off so he feels better with the soup.

Re: 6/1 Mannie +11 277, PMPS 264, +2 236

236 @ +2. well now.... we seem to like the yellows. we are down some from pmps - I wonder what Mannie will do with this. Mannie?

Hi Marje - i think he is doing just that: taking a break. every now and then we get one of these types of days.... omg! on the things in the fur.... uh let's see.... pine needles, leaves, maple seed thingies, tree sap, rose petals, thorns, rhody petals, floral stamen, grass clippings, beauty bark, twigs, moss, dirt, sand, vines, an occasional worm, and the unmentionable: slugs. I HATE the last one - they get stuck, and well it is just plain GROSS!   the list is long... those are what I can remember.   and thanks on all the rest. I think he is doing well - like the cycles, with the exception of those occasional off days, like today. All I have to do is remembered where he was a year ago..... there are no complaints. Had a great time with Nicholas - a beach walk - we did 5 miles, and he was as happy as a clam. not too bad for a 5 month old....

Tobey - feel better dude. I hope the soup was good. You were kinda loopy ya know. It was good to see you perk up when we out the bowl under your nose. SWEET! See you later, maybe? ~~ Mannie

Re: 6/1 Mannie +11 277, PMPS 264, +2 236

oooh... beach walk sounds so lovely, Michelle! Sounds like you and little Nicholas had a wonderful day! Nice of Sir Nannerpants to give you a break today so you could enjoy it!!

Hey, Mannie! Any fun going on tonite? Tired of being cooped up wif all dese boxes! An' de bean keeps putting clothes on all mah favorite sittin spots! At least de windows are still available! See ya later or maybe tomorrow? --Willie

Re: 6/1 Mannie +11 277, PMPS 264, +2 236

slugs in his hair? ewwwwww you poor thing. i'm sure mannie doesn't mind, but you're the one who might end up with a slug falling off in the house! the downside of the pac nw - slugs are well, impossible to love. in my world, at least.

i always like to hear about mannie's adventures and his love for his nanners. punkin's not quite that devoted, but he's laying on 2 nanners and one sausage right now. i never see him actually move them, though. yet somehow, they get moved. it's a great mystery.

Re: 6/1 Mannie PMPS 264, +2 236, +4 175

175 @ +4. YAY - Mannie! You made blue! :-D

Hi Julie - i know on the slugs... sheshhh I hate that! and yeah.... have had a few "fall off" double gross!all part of PNW living. bleach in my book! YAY for Nanners - Mannie's seem to be moved on the middle of the night - sometimes I see him do it. more often not. It was just poke time here - and of course I had to remove him from the nanner pile.

Hi Christie - that it was - Mannie always seems to know, so a break he gave Nicholas and me. It was a great walk - i am constantly amazed that this little guy goes on these walks with me, enjoys it all. It is truly enjoyable.

Hey Willie - I think we may be at the lagoon. I finally made blue, so maybe that would be OK? Tomorrow for sure! we gots OTJ parties coming up soon. ... hey! what is up with your bean taking all your fav sleeping places. DUDE cause for revolt! ohhh.... wait.... better not! She's taking you to a new house man, with a yard and stuff. I hope she likes the windowsills that we built.... See you! ~~ Mannie

Re: 6/1 Mannie PMPS 264, +2 236, +4 175

Mannie and Gracie were almost the same at +2....so I wonder??????? ;-) ;-)

Hope you have a great night. I'm turning in; I'm tired. Mike and I tried to nap but the UPS guy came about 15 mins after I shut my eyes. I couldnt' get back to sleep but Mike slept 3 hours and I'm glad!! So off to bed for me. NI nI.

142 @ +5.5. YAY! A nice blue! and done for the night.... i am tired.

Hi Marje - well he pulled it off. may not have been green, but a decent blue. I hope he carries this forward and can hit the greens tomorrow - a nice mid level green that doesn't need fuds manipulation., not asking much, am I?  NI NI to you too - I know you uys are tired. Sleep well, and I hope Gracie gives you the night off. OK Gracie?

NI NI ALL - this bean is once again toast!

i had a traumatic experience one time where i stepped barefoot (you know what's coming) nailbite_smile out onto our patio - i might've been 15ish - and stepped on a slug between my toes. yes, soldered in between my toes. it squirted up INTO MY FACE. :o in my grossed-out, horror-stricken condition, i screamed (like a girl) and turned away, promptly stepping on ANOTHER one, yes, in between the toes of the other foot.

the thing i remember most, other than the trauma, was how hard it was to scrub off. slugs are made of glue that doesn't dissolve in water & soap. ugh.

punkin's fav thing seems to be to gently rest his head on the edge of the nanners with his nose aimed in, "the better to smell you with my dear" he whispers to his little sweethearts. :-D
