Yup. Its Official. The Feline Peace Treaty has been signed. We all slept in bed together last night w/out any incident. Curry was surprised that Sid had taken over the prime spot on the bed next to the bean but found a new spot for the time being. She even thought it would be nice to sleep in the bean's armpit for a period. Dang she is hot. And the bean is hot too. That didn't last too long...I overheated.

Curry is back to her usual antics of going to the kitchen and jumping on the counter after breakfast has been served and barely touched. And meowing. And meowing. And meowing. She seems calmer too.

Sid seems more comfortable today...walking around rather than staying under the dining room table on near the entrance of "her" bedroom. I think I'm gonna leave them out together today while I'm at work. Will most likely come home at noon to check on the kitties.

This is one very happy bean.

Good morning .. what a great post to read, a beautiful start to the day with that lovely green and then hearing about the kitties sleeping together .. awwww! I hope you guys all have a great day!

Congratulations Tena with the Peace Treaty! You really were so patient and worked hard to get the two of them to be friends again, and you were successful! Are you the one who had the Animal Behaviorist; my memory is not quite awake yet! I'll bet he/she will be happy to know they are friends again.

What amazing news. Good for you. That's a wonderful accomplishment.

I am down to two kitties in my household now, and they can't be together. Sometimes I think I might try to start a gradual introduction.

I could cry out of happiness for you three. I've been waiting for the day that you posted that your family is all together again. Must be such a wonderful feeling. What a great reward for your patience. You did it!!!!!

One full day of freedom for Curry.

My furry, purry, Curry is BACK.

Prior to isolating her, Curry would love to chase a toy from the living room to the bedroom and back. She loves to run, but she hadn't done so in 4 months. So I made a new toy with these huge rubber bands.....looks like a big wiggly worm....and introduced it to Curry.....Wow......She ran from the living room to the bedroom chasing this Big Worm and then back to the living room....And jumped so hard through her cube that she did a somersault into the chair. She hasn't run in 4 months until today. She is so happy be let out of that room and back w/the family.
 
Tena, this is such a wonderful report! The family is back together, no more isolation! PLAY!! and GREEN numbers to boot!!

aw, that's the best news ever! wahoo! curry sounds SO happy! great job with the behavior modification that you did with them - all of your hard work paid off!

that is fantastic! behavior modification therapy works beautifully when done right. i'm so glad you guys have been able to make such great progress!
