Hope to have some answers from my vet today about heart meds for Boris. I swear the Tapazole is already doing something for him, no loud breathing. He is such a good boy and I must tell him that a zillion times a day. It still knocks me out how good he is about our daily routine and now he expects his cheese ball!
Sure feels like Monday, lol, this holiday stuff sure can screw up a bean!

Just checking in on you and Boris. Hope you have gotten some info from the vet today. Very nice to see King Boris's breathing is improved.

Just here to say crap! Girl brought over the tapazole liquid but no pills. I told them to order both in case I had a hard time giving him the pills, flippin liquid is $78 and now he is taking pills just fine. Vet was to busy to talk tome today I bet that means he doesn't have any ideas yet. Now I'm pissed at myself for ordering both, if I felt better I would have a drink or ten.
Is anyone familiar with the liquid tap? can it go in food or must I put it in his mouth.

curse words here

I'm not familar with the liquid. Dottie is on transdermal, it's really easy to use. You just apply it to the inside of the cat's ear flap, I've heard the pills taste really bitter. Good thing Boris doesn't mind the taste! Some of the heart issues caused by Hyper-T can be reversed, so maybe once Boris is on dose of Tap that controls his Hyper-T his heart will work better.

Hi Sandy
What's going on with Boris's breathing? Was he breathing this way when he got his x-ray?

There's no problem mixing meds with food; you just need to be very sure that he eats every bit of it so it's better to mix it with a small amt of food, let him gobble it, then feed him the rest of his regular meal.
