i will hv to sit down and go back to read everything ...

six subsequent cycles would be like 3 days, right?

That was just one option. You'll need to give him several cycles to see if it works. A higher dose can affect up to six subsequent cycles.

EVO no longer sells it's food online, so i need to find a dry food to replace EVO dry for sure...
any suggestions?

A lot of people seem to like Young Again - I don't feed dry so I don't have any personal experience, but I've seen people say the company will send you a sample to try out.

I know Young Again is probably the best, but it's price is out of what i can afford... :(

Hmm, then I don't know. You're not able to buy food locally in the stores?

The 2 dry foods that I've seen suggested as lower carb are the Evo and the Young Again.

Can I suggest you put "dry food suggestions?" or something like that in your thread title - that ought to draw the folks who would know about the topic.

Although the YA is pricing out of the gate it does last longer because they really do eat less of it. It's 600 calories per cup so a 1/4 cup along with wet is usually enough for the average kitty. If you go with this all other dry must be removed from his nose or he likely won't eat it...it's true. For some reason Doodles stopped eating it unfortunately. He's now getting Natures Variety Raw Instinct Chicken (original formula) which is 12.5% as fed in carbs to supplement my barely eating wet food finicky cat's calories.

Wysong offers a few varieties that are between 5%-12% carbs if you want to look that up.

Here are the Wysong offerings with the carb count.

Epigen 90 - 5.3
Epigen Venison Formula - 6.1
Epigen Fish Formula -6.8
Epigen Chicken Formula - 5.5
Optimal Nurture - 9.4
Optimal Vitality - 12.1
Optimal Geriatrx - 12.5

Thank you
i guess i will go with Natures Variety Raw Instinct Chicken (original formula) first and see how it goes...

is this the one?
