Morris ate up all of his food last night! He seemed to be in a relatively good mood this morning. He is due for another dose of mirtz tonight - I think I will continue with that for another dose or two, then see how he does without it.

I had him weighed at the vet on Sat morning....he is up to 6.14kg (13.5lbs)!!! His ideal weight is 5kg (11 lbs). I last had him weighed on Apr 17 & at that time he was 5.9kg (13 lbs) - so maybe I shouldn't be so concerned when he doesn't eat all his food! LOL!

I started a new cartridge of Lantus with this evenings dose. He seems to be doing quite well - he ate all of his food again! Perhaps I will not give him his dose of mirtz tonight after all & just see how he does! I will, however, continue with the fluids......might as well finnish up the bag I have started!

WOW! I think it is a good thing I decided not to give him his mirtz tonight.....by +1.5, he had already eaten almost 1/2 his food! I have not seen this in QUITE some time!

Way to go Morris! It's so good to see a kitty start to eat normally after a CP flare. Hopefully he'll keep it up for you and his numbers will start to come down as well.
