Morning, or for me it is almost my afternoon, since I've been up way too early! I am surprised at this 155 AMPS, as last night at the +3 Maggie didn't move one point from her PMPS, so I thought I might have given a fur shot. She usually has an early drop, but apparently not last night. All P's in place, and I got an early wake-up call with Maggie sitting on my bed staring at me. Maggie goes to the Vetty this morning at 9:00 am, so I am trying to act as normal as possible. I have her carrier in the bathroom so she won't spot it. This is just the week after re-check on her mouth. I am going to ask about her Stage 2 kidney disease and if I should be doing anything different with her diet. I will also check the Health Forum and Dr. Lisa's site.

Sending positive thoughts and prayers to all those kitties not doing so well; there are so many that if I name some, I will feel bad if I've left any out, so I'm including all of them and then can visit all the condos. Also healing vines to the kitties who have had dentals; it seems like there is a virus going around with our kitties' toothies! Pretty soon Missy Maggie will be toothless!

Hope you have a good vet appointment and get lots of info on her kidney disease.

Thanks Iorwen for the visit. Maggie just came over and nudged my legs as I was reading condos. I just got done commenting in Sienne's condo how our kitties have a way of letting us know they are low. Maggie came over and headbutted my legs, so I knew she was hungry, but I also felt her AMPS was a little lower than usual, so I tested, and she's 120 at almost +3 hours. We have to leave at 8:30 a.m. for a Vetty dental check-up, so I think I'll add a little FF turkey & giblets to make sure she doesn't drop too low. I know I'm being super cautious. I really don't like low numbers, shoot me! :smile:

Before we shoot you, we have to test to see what your BG is :lol: Low numbers always unnerve me as well.

Hi guys .. these are some nice morning numbers maggie .. I am sure the check up will go fine but it will be good to get some diet info if you can .. have a great day!

:lol: Oh Bev, you really made me laugh! I once tested myself on the Relion, and I was normal...uh well...I mean my bg was normal - I don't know about the Bean being normal! :lol: I am glad to know that I am not the only that does not like numbers.

Maggie had a good Vetty check-up on her mouth, and all is good. I made him a copy of her latest ss, and he's pleased with her numbers. Off to visit some condos. When I came home, I tested her, and she had a 120 at +6! I thought for sure she would be high! They all really like her, as she's so submissive with them.

Hi Devon, thanks for the visit. Right now we will keep the same diet, but he's going to check with another Vet when she returns from vacation. There is another roving Vet in the Clinic that he consults with on feline diabetes.
 
YAY!! Maggie passed dental recheck! That is good news - I am glad that all is well. It sounds like she has a good vet. always a plus. I hope all else was good with Maggie too.

I like Maggie's numbers today - so nice to see the low blues. Good job Maggie!
