Good morning Lantus Land and Happy Fursday. Sending out healing vines to Ozzie today and any others who need them.

I guess Gracie wasn't quite done with her bounce. Ann said Tess does this too....looks like she is clearing and then boings back up. Oh well...some healing range numbers better than none. At least she is feeling spunky. She loves to play chase...her rendition, of course. She comes running into the kitchen, arches her back and crooks her tail to get my attention and then takes off. She doesn't run far because she has to stop and look back and make sure I am following her. Then I get the arched back, crooked tail, wild eyes almost with a laugh in them and off she goes again. If I run back into the kitchen, here she comes....sometimes sliding across the floor. It's so adorable and hilarious all at once.
I am seriously hoping I did not give her a fur shot. I'm certain it went in but when I was hugging on her later, I thought I smelled insulin...... nailbite_smile nailbite_smile nailbite_smile

Sorry I missed you all yesterday. Long day at work, got home just in time to shoot Grace, and then we got our walk and dinner in and I was toast. I'll have to visit condos later...I have a telecon with the personnel folks today to figure out how they got me in the wrong retirement system 18 years ago and how to get it fixed. If Gracie is still up, we'll probably go to the movies. I'll try to check in later.

In the meantime, have a wonderful day.

Well Miss Gracie - I am sure you love the color pink, but the real color of royalty is purple, so give up your pink attachment!

There is something going around with these high numbers today - a pink fungus perhaps? :roll:

OK this is enough on the bounce, you are only allowed one little bounce up and then you HAVE to come back down.

Ugh, good luck on the telecon. Yock on the paperwork!

Marje--It's just One Number One Day!!--We all know we will encounter bounces, they are a fact of life around here--Dont fret, she will come down for you--Paws & fingers crossed!

BTW Moonie bounced for 4 days, I added a drop, she's back down now! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Best of luck on getting the personnel stuff straightened out. I cringed for you when I read that... even more than for that pink number of Gracie's! (suspect that it will take far less time to straighten out her numbers than it will to straighten out your retirement issues!! :lol: :lol: ).

Hope you guys have fun taking in a show tonight!

ETA: Okay, Playful Gracie is running through my brain... and her with the Crazy Eyes is giving me the Crazy Giggles!!!

18 years in the wrong retirement system!!! I hope it will only take a few days to get this straightened out. Good thing you discovered it!

Looks like a rest day for Gracie's bgs. A Save- a- strip- and- save-an- ear- day. Enjoy those kitty chases. Has Tobey recovered from Tess's fantastic ginger-cinnamon dessert at Apollo's party??

Hi our friends and thanks for the visits and support today. Gracie has decided to be a little drama queen about this bounce. Of course, still not ruling out the possibility of a fur shot but based on the look of it today, I doubt it. She usually goes much higher with a missed shot. I think she's just pouting. :twisted: :twisted:

Retirement conversation two hours long and I'm still in the dark....the counsellor did a great job of giving me the options but I don't like them :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Next stop: financial advisor before we decide which way we want to go.

I went out to check on a bird that hit the window earlier and RATTLESNAKE!!!! So we walked a wide berth around him and then immediately left for the movie. Saw "Ides of March"....highly recommend. When we came back, Mr. RATTLESNAKE still there by our front gate. We did our walk and when we came back, he was gone....most likely somewhere in the front of the property....I think it's the same one we saw a couple weeks ago when I took the recycling out.

Mike is leaving again tomorrow so I'm spending the evening enjoying his company. I'll catch up tomorrow. Please be sure and check out the LLEF post regarding support of DCIN for Ozzie.

18 years in the wrong system. *sigh* one time i got a raise that went back something like 3 years because they missed a step increase on me . . . i thought that was a fairly impressive mistake, but 18 years in the wrong retirement system - that pretty much tops it all. i hope you get it straightened out and the mistake leans in your favor.

and joy that gracie's at least come out of the pinks!
