Happy Mother's Day! Tugger gave me a lovely number this morning so my day was started off perfectly =) It's 60 degrees here right now so I am going to go out and play in the yard. I might as well enjoy the gorgeous weather while I can, once it gets hot and muggy I will avoid going outdoors as much as possible and my plants either live or die but you won't catch me out watering or weeding past May or June. I have my 100 SPF sunscreen on and my tools ready to go =) I'll come back to check condos and visit after I wear myself out :mrgreen:
 
Hi Tugger great number for your today :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Dad Bean must have been asleep for breffis today and Mom was in charge :-D Hey Marvie I am loving green now just like you said I would and now want to see nothing but that for Do so much for being afraid of green I got over that fear quick :-D
 
Wow - what a great ambg! Someone has a party soon !! Enjoy your day outside. I'm procratinating - it was only 35 out at 8 am, 47 and windy at 10. I'm going to get a +4 here in few minutes and then go attack some weeds.

I'd much rather be outside right now, it's a full ten degrees warmer in here than it is outdoors. It's breezy but the breeze is not coming from the right direction for my windows to catch it. I had to stop and eat something though. It's not smart to go outside in full sun, bend over (beds are not designed so I can sit, I have to stand and bend) and pull weeds for an hour with nothin' in your tummy but coffee ohmygod_smile

Yep, hubby slept in this morning :lol: and he's back in there napping again! He's acting like it's Father's Day or somethin' ;-) I don't mind though, he's out of my hair. It also means Isis is out of my hair, because she is in there on the floor next to him.

I really miss my old phone that I lost/got stolen back in January. I had a lot of music on it and could use it like an MP3 player, could fw'd the house calls to it if I wanted to, I'd fire up the Bluetooth and spend hours pulling weeds while listening to music on it or chatting with whoever called. The phone I have now is older and doesn't have any of those capabilities (well I could fwd house calls to it but I can't be hands-free so there's no point.) I do have an MP3 player somewhere but it's never charged when I want to use it and it's a pita to use when bent over because it's slippery metal and will NOT stay where I put it. Even falls out of my bra :lol: =) I'd really love to have music while I'm outside today. *sigh* I should have made hubby get me a new phone for mama's day.

Tugger is resting right now but plans to head to Scrabble's party soon party_cat and I guess I won't see him till his own party! He's so excited he can hardly contain himself. flip_cat I don't think he's really sleeping but he is resting. I told him he could leave when he's ready and has had his lunch bcatrun_gif He can't wait to see Hank and the Max'z and get to partying!

Weathergirl, you can do it! Ours was a crazy ride and probably not typical but it definitely shows how food can make a huge difference in some kitties. I made so many mis-steps in the first few months... I was just not making a bit of progress at all till I made the food change and came here for dose help. Tugger's a tough guy though, so he stuck it out till I got all my ducks in a row and figured out how to fix him, with the help of all these folks =) He's very proud that he will be the 124th OTJ Kitty in LL (anti-jinx!) With the resources you have at your fingertips here... your baby will be moving to the falls with Tugger and the others before you know it =) Patience is the hardest part of this whole thing, especially when you look around and see kitties who move as quickly as Tugger and some others have done, but remember that ECID (every cat is different) and that you're not in charge of this sugardance, you're just here to do what Vesta and her body tell you to do ;) It might be fast, it might be a slow and steady dance. Either way, you will come through this more bonded to your girl than you ever thought possible =) I thought I was pretty closely bonded to Tugger before, we've been through a lot in his ten years... but wow. It's a whole new bond now =)
 
Hey Tugger! I'm working on the menu for your Big Day tomorrow. Here's what I'm planning so far. If you have any requests, send them! Menu: Minced Chesapeake Crab on a bed of Catnip; Stewed Rabbit Provençal; Salad of field greens and spicy spring weeds; Chef Stu's Famous Catmint Parfait.

Good thing DH slept in and didn't do the feeding again. :-D

Thanks for the kind words and thoughts :) You guys keep saying over and over how good the food change is- and I'm finally starting to see it in Vesta.

Happy Day 13!!! Tugger looks great!!! Spot is so excited that he gets to party two days in a row with his friends!!

Since this is the last time I get to post in Tugger's daily condo I started to get sentimental.

Hi Marvie and Tugger, had to stop in from all the partying and wish you a happy day 13! We have been so emotional and in such high spirits today it is amazing!!! Scrabble is looking forward to Tugger's party tomorrow, how fun!!! Scrabble is reserving a spot right next door to him with a great view!!! Happy Mother's Day!
 
I know I already posted but had to swing by again....just 'cause i can! :lol:

it's just part of the routine...to swing by and see what's going on w/ Tugger. So now what?

Don't know if i can wait til only Saturday for the Tug report.

I guess you will have to join the rest of us recent OTJ-ers at the betty ford rec. center at the falls where we all are in LL rehab together.

Don't get me wrong. the FALLS is GREAT....THE BEST! But we miss our friends here in this wonderful community.
