Good Morning LL! Still a bouncy pink kitteh! last chance Tess, if you don't slide down today we take thedose back up! :twisted: Apart from that Tess is feeling good, we even had a Z-man inspired happy crap dash today. :lol: :lol: Since I add psyllium to Emma's food every day I decided to ad just a little to Tess's too. Tess's poo has always on the hard dry side and this seems to be softening it up a little.

More ceramics work for me today. Tess is jealous, she watches for me to come back in the house. She thinks I'm spending all that time w/ " the little white pest!"

Hmmmm, three tests in a row at 350! I think the meter is stuck! ;-) At least no rise at +3 so maybe a good day today.

Zener does like his happy crap dash but we got that from Binks and Celi (of course :lol: :lol: ). How much psyllium powder do the girls get? Tess, there's that dosecrease threat again. Lets see some better numbers. Hope all goes well with the end of the semester.

Oh how funny with Tess and the happy crap dash. :lol: That's great on the psyllium husk. That is kind of a flat cycle today, maybe Tess will take the dose threat serious and slide down. I hope no pj party though unless you wouldn't mind.

Liz, we started the psyllium w/ Emma soon after adopting her. She had diarrhea to very soft, very smelly poo. The recommended amount was 1 tsp twice a day. He stools became more formed but ballooned in size. :shock: I cut her back to 1/4 tsp twice a day and that has worked well. Things improved even more when we started feeding her raw. About half her food is raw now, mainly still canned because I had stocked up on things she liked. Eventually I would like to do all raw, she never leaves food on the plate so no worries about it sitting out.

Soooo, I wondered if it would help Tess who had the opposite problem as it helps to balance out the water retention in the stool.

1 tsp BID sounds like a lot for a cat. Emma is doing so great. :-D I wonder how psyllium compares to miralax...

Hi Ann! Anther late visit.... aiyee! Better late than never?

I think your meter is stuck.... this too could explain the missing pages form Mannie's playbook that covered flat pinks.... Tess, best not read that or follow. Blues are better, really! I wonder what all that flat means.... :shock: I hope she comes down, soon, like tomorrow. :-D
