Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night and although he has bounced a little, he is in a good range to start the day. He enjoyed his breakfast of Wellness Turkey and FF T&G (although he was "waiting" for Paw Lickin' Chicken, which will be served at lunch today). He jerked away from his shot, but I think it all got in. He had a delicious lung treat, a schmooze, a weigh-in (16 lbs., 8.5 oz.; gained 2 ounces since 1 April; this is a good weight for him and I hope he will stay in this range). Now he is chillaxin' in his little bed by the radiator. We'll have some outdoor time later, before it begins to rain.

Today is a catch-up day for me: paperwork, shopping, correspondence, etc. etc. When you go out and play, you eventually have to pay!!

p.s. Here's a little bit of Adirondack whimsy: a "throne" seat instead of an outhouse at a campsite on Upper Sargent Pond. I love the decorations with pinecones!

Hey Kitties, We haven't been to the beach or the dunes in a while. How's the weather out there on the left coast? Shall it be a beach day or a dunes day? I'm ready for either and will bring some bison burgers for grillin'.

Hooray for Blue. Good start today Rusty. Maybe the lagoon too. :cool: Nice on your weight too! Good job all around.

Good luck with your catch up day. I know how it can be: when one plays eventually one does have to pay. So true!

Rusty and Ollie are almost twins this morning. I hope they both get to the Lagoon today!

Morning Ella, nice blue AMPS for Rusty's start of the day, and I predict he reaches the Green Lagoon. Thanks for the info on how to look for the firm texture Wellness with the codes on the cans. I plan on hitting a pet store soon, so will look for the "C1" code on the cans. Mags just will not eat the fluffy one.
Have a great day on catch-up work. It always feels better to attack it and get it out of the way.

Hey Rusty, my Bean says the beach weather will be really nice here today, not too hot but real nice temps. We can get our exercise along the boardwalk and stop at different eateries along the way. Bring your surfboard, too. See ya soon, Mags

Nice blue start for Rusty today. So who wants to dip in a lagoon on a cool day like this, anyway. :roll:

It is indeed a good day to catch up on all the annoying chores, indoors.

Hi Ella. Glad to see Rusty is doing well and is close enough to the Lagoon's edge that I'm sure he'll surf a bit.

Trip stress seems to be over, nice to see a start in the blues and the LagoonMeister poised for duties! Ugh, on the paperwork. I"ve got lots to do too.


Yo, Rusty! The beach sound great, but the dunes are looking good too. Maybe tomorrow! I'm driving the Furrari down to SD and we can cruise along PCH! -- Tess

Rusty decided to resume the bounce, I guess. He meowed in anticipation of Paw Lickin' Chicken for lunch. I think he thinks he's going to get it for every meal!!

I'm glad he likes the Paw Lickin' Chicken. Tess is of course one of the few cats that doesn't care for it! :roll:

Hopefully Rusty will come back down and visit the lagoon again. I hope Edward's chiropractor visit went well.

Hi again,
Rusty is having a flat blue day. I'm so glad it isn't a real bounce and I hope it portends well for his getting back to his normal cycles. He enjoyed a dinner of Paw Lickin' Chicken.

Off to visit condos now. Chores and yard work done for the day. Paperwork left for tomorrow (saving the "best" ohmygod_smile for last!)

Flat blue - I love those cycles! Probably because we never see them in our house. :lol: :lol: Exams have been given and graded. Anne is completely is done and I still have a few projects to grade. Ugh. I seem to be finding school things to do this summer though. I have to put an end to that.
