Hi All. I managed to do a curve yesterday.
AMPS was 278; +3 259; +6 171 +8 216 and +10 258. So far so good. Then PMPS was 392. No so bad for a bounce especially compared to what we used to contend with -- numbers in the 400s and 500s. I gave him 2.75 u last night, and this morning you can see that he was at 420. It may turn out that he needs 3 units after all. For now, I'll do another curve in a day or so and try to get a +4 in there.
I hate these high numbers, but I'm relieved we seem to be making some progress. We are down to the last quarter of first full Lantus pen we have used. He's still eating well, and going outside several times on most days. He's eliminating responsibly. He even used his litter box with no litter in it while I was in the middle of cleaning it. What a nice cat. I'll probably find poop somewhere tonight, but let's hope not.
