another great start for willie, especially given that his meter tends to run about 20% high. very happy that his bounce off of yesterday's 36 was just a brief blip. it's a gorgeoys day here, so looks like Willie will get some more outdoor time... Maybe a visit from his new friend as well?

Just two more doses of cyclosporine...wednesday and saturday. Can't wait!

Morning guys! Looking might fine there this morning Willie. Wow on that amps, nice that he didn't have much of a bounce after that 36. YAY!!

Lucky Willie - more outdoors time. Mannie wants to know if Willie could send some of that sunshine here.... it is raining here, again.

Ann-- Meters will often run predictably in a certain part of the 20% meter variance range. By testing with other meters concurrently, I've concluded that the Advocate runs at the high end of the 20% meter variance, while my Freestyle Lite runs at the low end. It's not quite as much variance as an AT, but close. I'm still not sure how I feel about it... on the one hand, it does make Willie really earn his dosecreases and prevents me from trying an OTJ trial too early. On the other hand, I worry about him going too low, though I have found that once I get down around the mid 40s, the two meters are very in line with one another. Ultimately, the advocate strips are extremely inexpensive and the meter is consistent, so I'm sticking with it.
