Mandarin made it into the lagoon last night - for the first time since he had to go back on Insulin. :D:D:D Not surprisingly, he's bouncing today... but it's great that he hasn't forgotten how to work the juice.

His brother Walter also dipped his toes into the lagoon and is starting the day on the beach. Let's hope that he's not planing on diving today. I have a lunch meeting from +4 until about +6... so I just fed an early snack and will check him again before I leave.

After turning in my grades on Monday, I took a day off yesterday. I just sat on my couch, read a book and hung out with my animals. It was great!

What a nice way to spend the day!!!!!!
Looks like the fellas are surfing right along. Remember Walter stay on the surf board and no diving...

You certainly deserve a sit on the couch, reading a book with the critters kind of day! The boys are looking good and nice to see Mandarin getting into the swing of things. Surf safely and be good to mama bean please.

How's Lenny doing?
He's doing great! We are still doing water therapy twice a week and I think that has really helped him build some muscle back up. Yesterday was the first day that he took our regular two-mile walk around the neighborhood. He's still slower that he was before he injured himself - but he is probably 90% back to normal. I am very happy with the surgery for sure!

How are the girls?
Flora is doing great! No more digestive problems and she looks like a mini panther with her shiny black coat. Iris is as snorkely as ever, but she hasn't had any discharge from her nose in quite some time. Her right ear is still bugging her though and she is joining her big brother Capone for a vet appointment next week so the vet can take a peek at her. I am still convinced that there is a polyp - but we wanted to give her some time to grow and see what her immune system can do just with supplements. Overall, she really isn't doing bad - she's playful and affectionate and has adjusted to the fact that she can't breathe well.
