Good Morning, Everyone,
I checked the meter carefully, and no, I wasn't holding it upsidedown! The LagoonMeister is on duty this morning, so all kitties come and enjoy a surf! I guess Rusty broke his trip-stress bounce(s) and I hope he doesn't bounce from this AMPS number (which is not atypical for him, but is much lower than he has been at AMPS in quite a while). Of course he would choose to have a lower number on a day when I will be out, but Edward will be here to watch him and make sure that he eats all his fuds. (New caregivers reading Rusty's condo please note that Rusty is on Levemir, which has a much later onset than Lantus. So I was not worried about giving him his insulin this morning because he will undoubtedly rise for the next few hours before onset kicks in, somewhere around +4 or +5. )
Rusty was impatient for us to get up this morning and rustle up his breakfast. The morning routine went well. He enjoyed a combo breakfast of FF T&G and Wellness Turkey. He gobbled up his "lung treat". We are missing our schmooze this morning because I have to get going to meet some friends for a hike in the Long Lake area (about 40 miles from here).
Wishing you all a fine day. Our weather is warm and sunny, but showers are expected this afternoon. We really need the rain and it is expected to continue for the remainder of the week. (It will give me the opportunity to get paperwork done!)

Yo kitties, the porches are open and the garden is greening up. Come visit me today and we'll go down to the lake to watch the Canada Geese and go out in the canoe and then come back to chillax on the porches or in the garden.
