Well a quieter morning here in Ky I was able to sleep last night for about 6 hours and so for no more liquid poo for Mama Bean :mrgreen: looks like meds are kicking in hope so
Ok on to Do Lou he is feeling good this morning all P's in place got me up in the night he likes to start about 3 thinks he is starving does not matter if the automat is open with food that is just not good enough Mama Bean has to get up and take him to it and let him sniff and then he is like OHHH ok I have food :lol: this cat has me well trained

uh...it's an "automatic" feeder....what part of that does he NOT understand? LMHO. Yep..you are well trained...
When my two walk away from their bowls, I go over and fluff their food and bring the dish to them...they both look down and say "What have we here? More food! Oh..okay! this looks good enough to eat!" Duh. :roll:
We certainly are well-trained! :lol:

Isn't it amazing how well trained we become? I bet there are any number of us who make sure the kitties have their space in bed and we organize around them, respond to a particular meow, get up to feed or test when asked, etc. I am very well trained, too!!

Happy Caturday, Lisa Do Lou too!! Sadi does that to me too.. makes me get up & escort her to her bowl & then she eats.. mind you food is in there! Geez! :lol:
I don't know which is worse her doing it, or me continuing to do it!! Trained I am...! Have a great day!

As they say: dogs have owners, cats have attendants! Glad to hear you're feeling better, Lisa, and that Do Lou is doing well, too. When Stu wakes us up in the middle of the night, pounding on the doors, DH tells him to go downstairs and eat his food. And he does!! It's taken quite a while to achieve this!! (it may just be a passing phase, but hey, its OK!!). Have a good Caturday!

I'm always amazed that I still get surprised that it's the cats that rule the house and not us. :lol:

Hi Lisa and Do Lou, awesome day for the two of you! I will be using the autofeeder for the first time tomorrow without anyone here so I am hoping my two can figure it out, they like me to watch them eat, lol! So glad things are going better for you guys! Happy Caturday!

Well, look a that. OK, hmmm... let's mull this over.
OK, he likes the LC diet for sure, big changes here.
You still need sleep, how about BCS 3u? 2u?

Am I :roll: crazy if I ask -- how aobut trying him out on 2.5u as his new dose? I think it is worth a try.
That dry food can really kick up the dose and it is gone, gone, gone.
Honestly, I can't see a good reason not to try it -- his previous dose was for a dry food kitty which he is no longer.

No I can see how much the dry food was really making a difference wish I had weaned him off months ago now but at least I have now and he is really starting to turn around for us :mrgreen:

It also sounds like you are feeling better too. Glad to hear that. And don't worry, you are not the only one who is trained. I am a trainee graduate also :lol:

Nice numbers, Lisa & Do Lou. Keep checking and feeding a tiny bit and let Do Lou surf. I am also a well trained bean. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one that fluffs up the food for the kitties. "Oh, now that tastes different, mom."

A little LC or MC snack would be good here.
If he bounces high from this I think I would still hold the 2.5u, his bounces clear fast.

Its amazing how much alert he is at these numbers he is eating a LC snack now

I would feed him a couple more bites of low carb food to encourage him to keep surfing. This is perfect! Maybe another test at +4? Mostly because I want to see another green number. :mrgreen:

yep.. thats right.. it kind of defeats the purpose.. giving insulin & giving dry.. you don't get anywhere.. kind of like people who workout everyday.. but eat whatever/whenever they want.. all you are doing is maintaining.. not gaining momentum lol High Five.. you are doing awesomely amazing! Do Lou too!!

Wow Do Lou.....you had a great day. I guess you need to hire a maitre d to show Do Lou to his table. He is much too sophistiCATed to go to the feeder by himself. dancing_cat
 
Awesome Do Lou!!!

Everyone is well trained at our house. You should see DH following Tess when she doesn't finish, bowl in one hand, extra chicken dust and/or water and spoon in the other. :lol:

As for the automatic feeder..... she always found the treats when I was training her to use it, but somehow not meals when we are gone or at night. :roll:
 
Look at Do Lou go! :mrgreen: absolutely fabulous! No need to tell you anymore that food plays a big role in the sugar dance!
