First dose of PZI on board as well as first thyroid pill cleverly disguised as a cream cheese morsel with breakfast.

Went with .25u for a starting dose and planning on testing every 2 hours today.

Alska is waving from the sundeck. Hopefully Cassanova will keep him company. We are rooting for Autumn to get her thyroid regulated so she can try an OTJ trial again.

Hi Mel - I posted some info on your previous thread, so be sure to take a look.

Autumn may be wondering what Mama is giving her today - I expect it feels different. But I'm sure she'll be right on board before you know it!

She definitely thought mom lost her mind last night when I didn't shoot. Lol. She's not acting like she's this high. She's a very happy and cuddly girl and normally when high she hates the world.

I've done this dance long enough to realize its a marathon and not a sprint. We just have to learn the new dance steps. At least if she doesn't come down in a cycle or two I don't have to wait on a shed to fill I can just adjust up.

I upped her to 1u tonight since she stayed so high today. Those blacks are just killing me. And I'll be with her to check on her tonight.

She sleeps under my arm or curled against my chest so she's easy to just roll over and test. So I'll grab a lights out at +3, set an alarm for +6 and we'll be up by her +10...they just decided to move DH's start time up two hours. Welcome to summer when married to a roofer. Morning now begins at 4:30 a.m.

Kinda figured I'm doing this like N with duration. Lol. Since NPH was my first insulin I kinda have a little bit of a grasp of in/out insulins. Just haven't done it in about 5 years. But she really isn't acting as high as she's showing on the meter. But then again she's not her normal perky self either.
