5/7 Rocket Prayers Needed - Small update

I am posting on behalf of Claudia. She is at the ER right now with Rocket. I don't know many details, but Rocket has a high fever and is being admitted to the ER overnight. Please send tons of prayers and healing vines to Rocket and Claudia. They really need prayer right now and we know how powerful prayer is in LL.

Georgia, thanks for the update. Prayers and healing vines for Rocket. He's a strong willed kitty, so keep fighting Rocket! Hugs and comfort vines to you, Claudia.

I'm so sorry to hear Rocket is sick. He's such such an old cutie! I hope he does okay. I was just thinking how wonderful it is that he's been blessed with such a long life. Did Claudia start her new job today? I'll be sending good health thoughts his way and strength to Claudia.

We pray for and think about Rocket and Claudia in our home every night...I'm sure she knows this and if by some weird chance he doesn't, she knows this now. We love you both..and Comet too.

I heard from Claudia late last night as she was driving home from the ER. According to Claudia, "Rocket is in bad shape but his fever has come down a touch". She is going to go back early this morning (5:30 am) to check on him. Unfortunately, Claudia started a new job yesterday and she has to go into work today. She is just in the learning phase of her new job so it is going to be very hard to focus with Rocket being sick. Please keep sending prayers. I will update when I hear from her this morning.

Small update from Claudia this morning:

Rocket has eaten very little overnight. His temp was originally 40.7 C (around 105F if I calculated right). At 2:00 AM it was down to 39.6C (about 103F) and now is even better at 38.8 C (about 102). So his temp is almost normal as of this morning.

Claudia said that Rocket perked up a little when he heard her voice this morning :smile:
 
Thank you for the update, Georgia. That is certainly encouraging. Sending healing vines to Rocket and plain ole energy to Claudia in her new job.

OH, I am so happy to see this. I was so worried all night.

Sending more healing vines, and tons of prayers, and white light to Rocket.

will give more info on what has taken place....

for now i wanted to thank everyone....keep those prayers coming cause he is not out of this one just yet....

he is home and ate a snack shortly after we got back...on his own...he is pretty restless and need to be with him....

thank you thank you thank you.....i've been a mess while at work....but he is home now....
