Good afternoon LL!

It's cloudy but the sun is trying to come out here. I hope it makes it. It's been raining all week off and on. :sad: I need to do some running around shopping but have been putting it off because I hate getting caught in the rain but will have my grandson all week starting tomorrow so better get it done today in peace and quiet without having to be distracted.

Racci is taking a nap on the window seat after enjoying watching the birdies and squirrels and all the goings on outside. I taught her how to get down via climbing on the chair first then the ottoman so it's not as drastic a jump for her so she feels safe there, though she still needs help up. She's had her 3 breakfasts today but did get them spread out tho one was too late and caused her amps to be higher than it would have been but I overslept again. I wish DH wouldn't do that. He shut my alarm figuring he'd let me get my last day of sleep in before little Jr. started coming at 8am but I hate being late & oversleeping. sigh

I hope all is well in LL and all kitties are feeling good today and their mamas & papas too!

I tried the same thing with Daphne, but she just was too scared.
Racci is a brave little girl!

Hi Julie & Barb,

We never did get the sun for more than a few minutes. Instead it got colder and damp. Ugh! Needless to say, I never made it out with such a late start. I'm still doing chores inside after spending much too much time on the phone with my dil. :lol:

Actually the window seat is a real seat with a wide cushion and throw pillows so Racci doesn't have to be brave to sit on it like she would with a window sill. :razz: I have one of those 3 sided curved walls of windows (can't think of the name of it for the life of me) so I had a window seat built in it. She and Calli always sat on the windowsill together in my other place ever since she was a kitten, until she got too fat, then she would sit on my desk next to the window. They always kept me company while I was on the computer. I guess since her Calli mom taught her to do that so young she never thought that was scary even tho she's so timid about other things. :lol:

Now she's in her other favorite spot when she wants mommy time. Under my laptop desk with her head lying on the bottom of the coffee table like its a pillow, next to my feet waiting for pets and attention in between typing. She just loves to be petted by her mommy. :smile: I gave her a brushing already and played with her cat dancer with her before, trying to pay some more attention to her today than usual because this week will be a rough one for her with my grandson here. I hope her bg doesn't go up from stress.

I hope you're having a good day and getting stuff that you want done. I'm off to test and feed a little dinner now. It's +6.5. ttyl!
