yesterday
usual happy boy this morning. i think he's finally over the effects of the dental - he's looking & acting like himself again. he got quite excited about the prospect of pill pockets (who'd have thought) and even stood up on his hind legs for a couple of moments to see if he could get them from me faster. he was purring away at the thought of that yummy pill pocket.
took him out for a walk yesterday. "walking" a cat is so interesting. he kept slinking under and behind things, making me crawl under a couple of shrubs and pass the leash around things. started in the side yard by the catnip, but someone was running a lawn mower on that side, so he wanted out of the garden area. went to the front yard, watched a car go around the cul-de-sac from behind the safety of a giant shrub, nibbled the edges of some grass, checked out the other side yard and i had to squeeze between a fence post and a retaining wall to get under a climbing rose limb, through to the back yard - well, you get the picture. we were out for maybe an hour and never left the yard. then he was feisty and happy when he came back in, sharpening his claws on the carpet and doing a little kitty wrestling with anya.
anya has killed 3 socks and their carcasses are in the hallway by our bedroom. i just keep walking over them and have left them there.
oh yeah - CPC achieved for everyone this morning! another beautiful day in western oregon.
