5/7 Owen AMPS 127 +2 61

Ii gave Owen some Friskies pate after the 61 which he devoured. He’s not even eating the savory centers anymore.

We need to figure out how to stop these massive drops. Would he eat pate mixed with grilled at shot time?
Also a 4 am snack might bring down his amps. Perhaps a timed feeder would work?
We are so close to getting him off insulin! Now is the time to really give him the help he needs to get there!

Oh he would definitely eat pate mixed with grilled. And I will set my alarm for 4:00 a.m. starting tomorrow when I will finally be home.

It would also be helpful to know what the numbers look like beyond +3. I think the timed feeder is a good idea. In fact, if you're not already spreading out his food over the first couple hours of the cycle, that may help. (In other words, feed some of the meal at pre-shot, a bit more at +1, and a bit more at +2 and maybe the rest at +3.)

Sienne, she free feeds and often is not home at night or can’t get later tests. Making sure he eats at +9 is not possible either
