Good morning World! Yesterday<-- MY Derby win and 'Bella's' win!

Shot half an hour early this morning so I could get Bella to the vet. KT's pm+11 was so ugly that I knew it wasn't going to hurt anything. No idea why these UGLY numbers this morning, he possibly woke early and ate last night's food sometime +10-ish.
'Bella' made her vet visit early this morning but unfortunately no one recognized her - I was SO hoping they would. She is indeed quite an old dog, estimated 12-14 years, WAY too old to have had pups. The thing in her eye was a plant stalk about an inch long which, SO LUCKY, was between her eye and the muscle rather than actually in her eye - YEAH! No puncture to doctor every 4 hours for 3 days! She has a partially locked knee on her back right leg but that's been a long time happening. There's no fixing it, she's used to it, her body remodeled to it long ago. Other than being so starved and still having fleas, she's in good health. I knew she had fleas but until I knew about pups or gave up on them, I didn't want to put flea med on her. Her teats have shrunken over half way already, they were already dry but she was SO hungry and thirsty there was nothing to make milk anyway. Her heart sounds good, rattly breathing but she's an old pug with a terrible shape to her smushed nose. We scanned for chip, no such luck. I've left info with vets and Animal Control so we'll wait and see....
Everyone else is doing well so other than adding another bowl to the lineup, guess everything is as 'Normal' as it ever gets around here.
HUGS to all that visit today!!!
