Nothing out of the ordinary to report this am. Freaked out at 5:30am this morning when I woke up and thought I had missed his 4:30am shoot and feed (he's never once let me miss it), but realized I did get up and do it and just went back to sleep. He's been very lovey dovey to me these past few days, which is nice.

Guinness would never let you forget about breffis? Hopefully he comes down into some nicer numbers today.

Nothing like kitty affection to make life better. :-D :-D :-D I've done the "did I shoot or did I just dream that???" deliberation. I am sooo not a morning person! :lol: :lol: :lol: Hope you have a great day!

Well, we left for our pre-mom's day breakfast out and someone (me) left out a big loaf of french bread in a ziploc bag on the sink. Guess what was distroyed and scattered all over my house when I got home? Bread crumbs anyone? The bread stealing is so crazy to me. I just don't understand it. Obviously, he's hungry. His switch to raw is going well, but he is always alway alway always hungry. Gave him a smaller portion for his 10:30am meal, now he's sacked out on the floor. Hope his pancreas can bring the numbers back down after that carb-load.

Just this morning I woke up w/a start....thinking I had overslept and forgot to shoot Curry.....then I remembered that I had done it...whewww....

I couln't resist the photo......Guinness is now hunting bread....silly kitty.

I've never heard of a cat eating bread until I came on this board!!! Champ is too lazy to jump on the counter for food. I always have a loaf of bread out on the counter and he's never expressed any interest in it, thank goodness!! He does love crackers, though, especially Ritz crackers and graham crackers. I used to break off a piece and he would nibble it to death with his little tiny front teeth...soooo cute. But, yikes!!! If I only knew then what I know now, I NEVER would have done that. Even now my daughter will leave a pack of crackers out on a table top or counter and Champ doesn't touch them. I guess he just doesn't know that he COULD steal them. I hope he never realizes that.

I sure hope Guinness' numbers return to a much better level!! Too bad you probably know he hasn't learned his lesson :lol:

Guinness joins those kitties who steal bread, lick icing, want pasta or pizza, crunch on tortilla chips, crave donuts, etc. I hope you gave him a stern talking to! FWIW, my grandfather, who was diabetic, would sneak crackers. It made my grandmother crazy.

Beethoven used to get into the bagels, which always led to a friendly argument with DH about who left them out. Since he's been OTJ, we haven't had any bread thefts, but we're also more careful.
 
We have to use our microwave, toaster oven and regular oven as a bread box and store all our breads in there. One of these days he will get smart enough and learn to open all of them!
